The plumbers snaked the toilet, but the backup returned, and the toilet was not properly reset, which was the cause of the leak downstairs. They told us the issue was with our pipes being too brittle, and also that the leak had been ongoing in several units, which was not the case. The owner diagnosed the situation without coming to see it and said it was not something they handle. We ended up resetting the toilet ourselves and then called another plumber for the backup, which solved the problem.
