  I rarely write reviews but I had to for this place. My husband and I tried this place for the 1st time and we were so disappointed. I had shrimp tacos and my hubby had the buttermilk fried chicken tacos. The food tastes like drive thru food, it was barley warm, too much lettuce on my shrimp tacos, and the margaritas tasted like they had no alcohol. It was basically a slushie. ⚠️WARNING TMI⚠️ A few hours later both of us were on and off the toilet all night and part of the morning. There is a Laparilla Mexican Restaurant a few yards away. I wish we would have went there instead of wasting our date night at Yumbii.

  Yumbii was definitely a pleasant surprise. As I’m one to try a new restaurant unless someone recommends it. But in this case I went into Yumbii on a whim as I was hungry and it was the closest place at the time. Being very skeptical I looked at the menu and ordered the honey serucha wings and a prime rib taco. And to my surprise it was delightful delicious. The food was so good that i frequent Yumbii on a regular basis. It is my new happy place…….
