  I've used HR Block online filing for years. However this year I had some equity sales which required cost basis adjustments. There were limited resources online on how to do so, many of which more or less saying "hire a tax professional." Anyways, I gave up and went to HR block however they seemed to not be familiar with my tax situation and were going to charge me substantially more than I've ever paid before for an incorrect return. After that I decided to hire a CPA since I felt like I needed a little more expertise and am very glad I did. The entire process was very hassle free. Basically just send relevant docs over and answer a few questions. This is the first time where taxes didn't feel like a massive stressful chore. Joe was also able to get me in late in the tax season (late march/early April). Finally, I'll add Joe's pricing was very reasonable. It was significantly cheaper than HR Block and only a couple hundred more than using online software. Very happy I chose to go with Joe and plan to use him again in the future!

  After using Turbotax for many years, I will admit that I was a little leery going to Joe for assistance. I had a new wrinkle in my filing this year which I was not familiar with and which Turbotax could not address. Joe was absolutely fantastic. He was cordial, patient, knowledgeable, timely, and reasonable. I wish I had learned of Joe years before as his process is simple and straightforward - not intimidating at all. I'm done with Turbotax and look forward to using Joe from now on. He well exceeded my expectations and provided absolutely awesome service.

  Joe walked into a mess with both my personal return and our non profit return. He basically had to redo two years. As an EA (IRS enrolled agent) he specializes in IRS returns. Becaue of online filing, online information collection and Intuit support, he could be exteemely cost effective and was able to complete my returns at a fraction of the brick and morter firms. I didn't even have to leave the house. I just wish I'd have found him and this approach and solution a long time ago. Year two and even better. 2/10/2025 rjr Two more great returns, one year later. This is so much easier and laster than hauling a bunch of stuff in a box to an office somewhere and then waiting. I'm sold. 5/15/2025 rjr
