  It's hard to place any good value on my experience with Yancey as a company. I took my equipment there for a warranty repair and spent days asking if they could simply let me know when I might get my equipment back. I only wanted to know for planning purposes. I needed to know because I had projects that needed this one piece of equipment to do the job. I did not pressure them to get it back to me. I just wanted to know if they could keep me informed of the progress and a possible date for picking it up. Days went by as the Washington GA location failed to even return my calls. Finally I got a call and it was to late to schedule the work I needed the equipment for which let me down and all my partners working a certain project. Had I known the parts came in or that it was even being worked on I could have made plans to put it to work. This cost me thousands of dollars of lost revenue all because of very poor communication on the part of Yancey. I then called the Yancey corporate office to share my thoughts and they ignored my concerns. They never called me back. If I look at this company compared to the way large equipment companies used to operate its just sad. This industry is in for difficult times if this is the way a large company with 14 locations in Georgia is going to operate regarding the simple need to be able to communicate. It does not give me reasons to buy new equipment ever again. I can buy most pieces of equipment at half the price with low hours and hire myself more maintenance staff and forget that a warranty means anything. Just look at the picture for the front of this location and you can see no one cares.

  I called and set up a rental for a skidsteer through Yancey Bros. The company I work for was on a tight schedule, so I made it clear that we needed it on Monday. They told me they would have it delivered on that Monday between 10 and 11. It was never delivered, so I called to follow up on why it was never delivered. The guy told me that it was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday, not Monday. Which was not the case. Throughout the day, they continued pushing back the time it would be delivered. They ended up not delivering it until after 4 on Tuesday. I would not recommend this company if you need rentals in a timely manner.
