  Xavier was an integral part in helping our rescue feel comfortable and less anxious. He was so patient and thorough with our dog! Xavier was amazing with communication and took the time to really work with us so that we could understand our dog’s behaviors and carry over skills learned to our home. I couldn’t recommend Xavier enough!

  Highly recommend this program run by local, highly motivated, down to earth, Professional trainers. Our dog Chewy is a 1.5 yr old German-Shepherd/Rotweiller mix. She is VERY strong, very energetic, but also a very sweet and loving girl. She pulled continuously during walks, was hard to control around cats or any little things, and was not responsive to any of our methods of trying to control her. I was concerned that the training would change her personality and her connection with us, but that was far from the truth. Head Trainer, Xavier, was very responsive and thorough in his communications and explanations. He assessed Chewy for free and determined that she would greatly benefit from the 3-week boarding program. When I went to pick her up, Chewy was so happy to see me, was still the same sweet loving girl, but was much more well behaved. I loved hearing about their bond with her and how much they would miss her. She now responds very well to the leash training, NO MORE PULLING! I am so very impressed by all the other skills she was able to learn during her boarding there. She also trained a lot with Amanda who is more soft spoken like myself. This made me more confident in my ability to be able to have Chewy listen to my commands as well. Chewy and I are still working on her leash training together and she is definitely a changed girl. We are still attending the included private lessons and Xavier is confident that weʻll progress soon to off-leash which Iʻm very hopeful for since we love our beach walks.

  Xavier and all the trainers trained my 9-month-old Pitbull terrier in a span of three weeks on obedience, the outcome was better than what we could have ever asked for. My dog's nibbling has stopped, and his attention towards sit, down and stay is phenomenal. My dog doesn’t pull when we walk him but walks next to us and pays attention to every turn we make. Xavier's service was the best decision my husband and I could’ve done for our puppy.

  Xavier has helped me become more confident as an owner of a new puppy. He’s very patient with both me and my dog and is extremely encouraging! I highly recommend Von Lotus Haus! 4/10/2023: I had previously written a review after my dog completed her board and train and now I wanted to write an update as an intern. I started as an intern with XL K9 Coach a little over a year ago. My time here has taught me many things, but I wanted to share the three most valuable; pressure, confidence, and timing. I was unsure and afraid to mess up when I started my dog training journey. Now I feel confident enough in my skillset to handle a multitude of dogs. Because of my confidence and my knowledge of dog behavior, my timing has also gotten better. When I first started, I had a hard time delivering my corrections, redirections, praise, and reward for marking behaviors on time and an even harder time recognizing when unwanted behaviors were about to happen. Now, my timing for those things has gotten a lot better. Lastly, but arguably most important, I know how to read the dog for the pressure it can handle and accept. It took me a while to figure out how to find a dog’s “sweet spot” for pressure. Over time with Xavier’s help, I’m getting better at it. Without Xavier taking me under his wing, I would have never found this passion for training dogs.

  Xavier is very knowledgeable and is willing to share that information. He is very patient with our puppy and especially us! I highly recommend Von Lotus Haus Dogs for all dog training needs!
