We tried this place once since it was highly recommended, but it was not a good fit for our dog. We dropped our dog off for a weekend boarding, and the next day they called us and said our dog had scratched another dog. We were about 4 hours away, and so couldn’t pick him up immediately. They isolated him in a kennel away from the other dogs, so he started whining. In the 4 hours it took us to drive back, they called/texted us 3 times asking when we would be there or if someone else could pick him up immediately because he wouldn’t stop whining. When we got there they showed us the video of the incident. Our dog was sitting on the ground with his back leg in the air, licking the inside of his leg. Another dog came up to him and stuck his nose into our dog’s belly to sniff around, which startled him. As he stood up quickly, his rear paw came down on the other dog’s head, resulting in a scratch. So hardly could be classified as our dog just attacking the other. Nonetheless, the staff who were previously in the background of the video distracted by their phones, shouted at our dog and chased him off, even though our dog had already started to move away from the other dog by the time they intervened. I get that you’re worried about liability for the scratch on the other dog, but to frame this as an act of aggression from our dog seemed a bit of a stretch. We were asked not to come back, and I agreed that was for the best. Though probably for a different reason than they intended. I’ll give them a bonus star for the indoor pool. Our dog does love water and it’s a unique selling point, we just weren’t impressed by the staff. We’ve since gone back to Puppy Play and Stay in Lakeville anytime we’ve needed boarding, as we haven’t had any issues with them in the 5+ years we’ve had our dog. Edit: to clarify on Woof Dah’s response below, this was our one and only visit after the initial observation session, so there was no past history of aggression from our dog.

Woofdah is amazing! Our dog Hank absolutely loves it here! The staff are so caring, the facility is clean, and I always know he’s safe, happy, and tired from a great day of play. Highly recommend!

This is our fourth dog we've entrusted to Woofdah for both daycare and overnight boarding for well over 10 years. The team is awesome!

I stopped going here about 5–6 months ago after my dog was injured at daycare and no one told me. I only discovered it when I got home and saw blood all over my carpet from his mouth. When I called to ask what happened, instead of accountability, they accused me of making a staff member cry — even though I was calm and had witnesses to the conversation. The manager later deflected and made it seem like I was the problem for suggesting my dog could have been hurt under their care. I also noticed unprofessional behavior, including staff gossiping about customers (including myself) and giving special treatment to certain dogs. Watching the cameras, it looked like the dogs mostly stood around while the same few workers rotated in and out, some of whom didn’t seem happy to even be there. The only positives I’ll mention are that staff are present 24/7 for boarding and there’s a small indoor pool. But overall, the lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism made me stop bringing my dog here. To the manager I spoke with: thank you for refunding the day of daycare — but that was never what I was asking for. What I wanted was transparency and accountability about how my dog was injured under your care. That seems like a pretty reasonable expectation, doesn’t it?
