- PAPaul AllenSep 6, 20252.0Got new gutters w/ leaf guards from Window World so I would not need to climb the latter and clean the gutters anymore. But because the leaf guard is recessed the branched. leafs and stuff all collect on the leaf guard and now I need to climb the ladder to clean the leaf guards! And above my Bow window the guarder has a back pitch and with a heavy rain it runs out the back of the gutters and down the windows! Will have to get on the ladder to fix that!

They came out on two separate days, the first for replacing ten windows from our 125 yo house and also a beautiful back door. The second day they came out to replace the roofing on our first and second story porches. Both days they showed up promptly at 8 am and worked steadily through the day. The teams were so friendly and professional under the supervision of Allan and Justin. And the work looks beautiful. I have full confidence that our winters will be cozier and am so glad that the old roofs have been dealt with. I thought the cost very reasonable, quite a bit under my expectations. Will the replacement windows be installed from the inside or outside?
The majority of our replacement windows are installed from the outside. In some situations, it may be necessary to install from the inside. On the day of installation, your installation expert will assess your unique situation and explain the process that will best suit your home.
Do you install replacement windows year-round? If so, will I lose a lot of heat/cooling at the time of installation?
Window World installs replacement windows year-round. An average installation will take only one day. Our crews install one window at a time and are trained to do what they can to minimize heating/cooling loss. The energy savings from your new windows will recover any incremental energy costs incurred during their installation many times over during their lifetime.
How can I prepare my house for my replacement windows?
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
How long will it take to get my replacement windows? How much time should I allow for the installation?
Generally, replacement windows can be installed within 4-8 weeks from the date that the final measurements are taken. The type of window being installed and type being removed helps determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average each window takes about 30-60 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.

What happens to my old windows?
After installing your new replacement windows we remove all old windows from your property and dispose of them properly. If you wish to keep your old windows or storm windows, please notify the installation crew as soon as they arrive for your installation.
What do I do if there is a problem with the windows?
