Having said that, the installation is an intensive process, and the team from Window World were very clear about what they need from the homeowner to have completed before they can begin. (Trimming bushes, etc., so they can get easy access to outside windows is key to making sure they can finish on-time - very important) Our 3-member installation team, Rafael (team leader), and his two assistants, Jean and Junior, were on-time, had everything they needed and were finished in one day, as promised. They were friendly, professional and respectful of our home during the installation. Since Window World windows are custom built for your home, there's a lead time between ordering and installation, in our case 3 months, so be aware of that. Our sales rep, Ray Gaudet, took his time explaining the various options available and demonstrated how these new windows work and made recommendations on what made sense for our particular house. We would definitely recommend Window World to anyone looking to upgrade your windows - you'll be surprised at the difference after the installation.

Will the replacement windows be installed from the inside or outside?
The majority of our replacement windows are installed from the outside. In some situations it may be necessary to install from the inside. On the day of installation, your installation expert will assess your unique situation and explain the process that will best suit your home.
Do you install replacement windows year-round? If so, will I lose a lot of heat/cooling at the time of installation?
Window World installs replacement windows year-round. An average installation will take only one day. Our crews install one window at a time and are trained to do what they can to minimize heating/cooling loss. The energy savings from your new windows will recover any incremental energy costs incurred during their installation many times over during their lifetime.
How can I prepare my house for my replacement windows?
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
How long will it take to get my replacement windows? How much time should I allow for the installation?
Since every window ordered is custom-built to fit your home and design choices, manufacturing times vary. Once delivered, the type of window being installed and the type being removed help determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average, each window takes about 30 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.
What type of warranty is available for my windows?

What happens to my old windows?
After installing your new replacement windows we remove all old windows from your property and dispose of them properly. If you wish to keep your old windows or storm windows, please notify the installation crew as soon as it arrives for your installation.
What do I do if there is a problem with the windows?
Most of the issues encountered by our customers are easily corrected and don't necessarily mean that there is a problem with your window. You are always welcome to contact us for help.
