Took all my blinds down as instructed then received a call on October 6th that the installer had a family emergency, so install would be pushed back to the 16th!! It was then adjusted to the 14th. A company as large as Window World only has one installer??? So now my painter has to be re-adjusted, which doesn't make it easy for him and his customers. What a cluster! The best is, the young girl on the phone said, well just hang your blinds back up!!!!! Sure, there's only 18 and then we'll take them back down again when we finally see an installer! Come on Window World, do better.

These are incredibly well built, solid windows. We went with single hung so we could clean them more easily, since they will swing in. WW met a competitor’s price for PGT windows and I like the design of WW’s better. Installation was clean and efficient. Two windows has minor mfgring flaws and WW replaced them readily. Great service and communication. The sound dampening and extremely low heat transfer make these windows worth it alone.

Will the replacement windows be installed from the inside or outside?
The majority of our replacement windows are installed from the outside. In some situations, it may be necessary to install from the inside. On the day of installation, your installation expert will assess your unique situation and explain the process that will best suit your home.
Do you install replacement windows year-round? If so, will I lose a lot of heat/cooling at the time of installation?
Window World installs replacement windows year-round. An average installation will take only one day. Our crews install one window at a time and are trained to do what they can to minimize heating/cooling loss. The energy savings from your new windows will recover any incremental energy costs incurred during their installation many times over during their lifetime.
How can I prepare my house for my replacement windows?
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
How long will it take to get my replacement windows? How much time should I allow for the installation?
Generally, replacement windows can be installed within 4-8 weeks from the date that the final measurements are taken. The type of window being installed and type being removed helps determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average each window takes about 30-60 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.
What type of warranty is available for my windows?

What happens to my old windows?
After installing your new replacement windows we remove all old windows from your property and dispose of them properly. If you wish to keep your old windows or storm windows, please notify the installation crew as soon as they arrive for your installation.
What do I do if there is a problem with the windows?
