WW is wanting me to commit $6K (50% of the project) without any installation commitment from WW? No thanks. I've been down that road too many times. Once some suppliers get your deposit, they take their sweet time getting to you along with their 11th hour postponements.
I have elected to hire a different supplier who has given me a reasonable schedule.

Great experience! We've had our windows for years. I noticed some foggy spots in a couple. I called the office with the serial numbers and replacements were ordered. We could have picked them up and installed them ourselves but opted for them to deliver and install. There was a fee but well worth it to two senior citizens who live 1 1/2 hours from Augusta. The ladies that I talked to on the phone were very nice as was the gentleman that installed the replacement windows.

Window install went well. They arrived before scheduled time but someone else was home so install could be completed. I left work early to catch them before closing at 5pm to pay my remaining balance.
While paying balance I asked if I could use the restroom. I was told no we don’t have a restroom by female office staff. Window World is open M-F 9am-5pm, I find it hard to believe that office staff is there 8 hr/ day without a bathroom.
If the bathroom is not for customers say that instead of lying about not having a bathroom. Customer service matters too.

Windows, doors, & outside shutters replaced. Quality windows at a fair price with warranty included. Work was completed on time & installation done correctly. Installation crew cleaned up each day. They made certain I was pleased with the work & understood how to properly operate window and door features. I would highly recommend Window World.

For the record I have not used this company. In the near future I’m going to need to replace all the windows in one of my houses & I’m doing my research. As a precaution I always start with the negative responses first when ready online feedback. I’m always interested to read how companies handle customers that provide negative feedback. Are they considerate, are they fair, & are they respectful? Businesses cannot please everyone, but their customer responses in a public forum can be all of those things. I also feel that businesses should do things to earn customer’s business upon their initial meeting and during the project phase. I expect your representatives to dress & look appropriately during our initial meeting, I expect to be given a well explained estimate, I expect for the project manger to call me weekly even when there is no work being done because of delays. AND I expect respectful communication. Reading the responses you’ve posted to your customers has made my decision very easy.

What does "Any Size, Installed" mean?
The term "Any Size" refers to any size replacement Double-Hung window our manufacturer will construct. Currently this is a minimum width and height of 15" X 26" and a maximum of 48" X 78". "Installed" refers to the removal of a basic Double-Hung wooden window and installing your new Window World replacement window, using the existing wooden stops.
What types of payment methods and financing do you offer?

Will the replacement windows be installed from the inside or outside?
The majority of our replacement windows are installed from the outside. In some situations it may be necessary to install from the inside. On the day of installation, your installation expert will assess your unique situation and explain the process that will best suit your home.
Do you install replacement windows year-round? If so, will I lose a lot of heat/cooling at the time of installation?
Window World installs replacement windows year-round. An average installation will take only one day. Our crews install one window at a time and are trained to do what they can to minimize heating/cooling loss. The energy savings from your new windows will recover any incremental energy costs incurred during their installation many times over during their lifetime.
How can I prepare my house for my replacement windows?
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
How long will it take to get my replacement windows? How much time should I allow for the installation?
Since every window ordered is custom-built to fit your home and design choices, manufacturing times vary. Once delivered, the type of window being installed and the type being removed help determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average, each window takes about 30 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.
What type of warranty is available for my windows?

What happens to my old windows?
After installing your new replacement windows we remove all old windows from your property and dispose of them properly. If you wish to keep your old windows or storm windows, please notify the installation crew as soon as it arrives for your installation.
What do I do if there is a problem with the windows?
Most of the issues encountered by our customers are easily corrected and don't necessarily mean that there is a problem with your window. You are always welcome to contact us for help.
