Was on a mission for scallops. Did not disappoint. French onion soup was awesome too.
The guy is was great, the service outstanding. They had a seasonal menu and I would highly recommend this venue for lunch or dinner
The food is extremely mediocre. I was dining with a friend and we took one bite and agreed that our food was sub par. Some even real bad. The broiled fish I had tasted like frozen, the shrimp and scallops were chewy because they were over cooked and the bread was just yuk.
Here in S Burlington for work event and my colleague found this place online. Great stop for dinner. Good food and service. We arrived early enough by 5 on a Wednesday night, no reservation and not very crowded. was pretty full by the time we left.
They give warm bread and butter at the table. Our server was attentive too but not overly.
Only posted the video in bathroom because the music caught me off for a second, when first walked in there were lyrics and I thought people were talking between stalls, but they were clean and nicely scented bathroom which is a plus.
Will add though the hostesses were slightly rude, my first impression want very welcoming there was 3 of them, asked if we needed reservations and our response was “we are slow right now” 😐 Either way, we obviously are tourists and gave it a try. Recommend maybe the hostesses try to be more welcoming, smile more , we are here to spend money and if others are like me, wrote a review.

I ordered the 16oz boneless ribeye medium rare ($38 before tax or tip btw). It was extremely well done and dry (grey!) and clearly more like 8-10oz, so for the first time in my life, I sent it back.
This was a mistake.
The next iteration of my order had no cap, only the eye, with an absurd amount of uncooked fat on the edge. On top of that, it was cold and RAW in the middle, and was cooked on the grill instead of in a pan (the first one was clearly cooked in a pan/oven) so there was no crust, just grey exterior with faint grill marks.
It was also so unbearably chewy I'm astounded how it was even possible seeing as it was barely even cooked. I've had cube steaks that were more tender than that piece of garbage.
I was so hungry and livid that I had to leave my party and go to Al's French Fries for a burger so that I wouldn't unjustly take my anger out on the waitress. She was very nice, so I didn't have it in me to lash out my complaints to her.
$40+ for two complete failure of attempts at a steak is an utter embarrassment.
I always thought it was overpriced, but this is the first time I've had this bad of an experience there, and will be the last. Worst experience with food at a restaurant I've ever had BY FAR.
