  Tonight 10-29-25 @7:02 ticket#455. The order was 2 LG. Rib Tip special for the price of$15.00ea. Now I was totally disappointed paid for a thin cut and the meat wasn't cut thin it was chopped up with a lot of bones and fatty meat. Then instead of what I've had several times before thinly cut portion was full not 1/2 of what you expected. Then on top of the food not being what I ordered it wasn't hot. The charges were very different from 10-22-25 ticket #330 same kind of order also 10-08-25 same order priced at $15.00 tax $1.46 total being $16.46 ea time within 2wks. and tonight my order was $15.00 ×2=$30. With a surcharge of3% and $2,00 for extra sauce which was never charged before and no surcharge either. My bill was $36.18 tonight and the only reason I didn't walk across the street to bring it back i really didn't feel like arguing about what was given to me I'm a senior and feel like if your food can be served correctly sometimes it should be consistent all the time. I should not have to down your place of business and go to your opposition to get a decent meal and you are right across the street from my home. But I'm done my taste buds were watering for good food and it wasn't fit to eat. This is very bad..I've included the photos of the fatty order which was suppose to be a large not small. Wish you the best moving forward but I'm done.

  poor customer service, I received an incorrect order, shame on me for not checking before departing establishment. when I called listed phone number to complain of incorrect order, I was provided a link to email my concern, after 3 hours no response,. I returned to the location about 5 hours to see if I could get the lunch special for the price I paid during lunch special period, i was refused, I paid a total of 9.98 for my chicken tip lunch special which included a tip of $1 20, I was given hot links instead of chicken tips, I cannot and do not eat spicy food. I was initially given a hard time, I no longer had the receipt, I gave the food to a homeless man , the receipt was in the bag. I even showed my bank app which clearly showed the amount being deducted from my account. I didn't want free food, I wanted the lunch special pricing, I was willing to pay $8.00 again, because I gave the food away. This is poor customer service but once again I should have checked my order for accuracy before leaving establishment. CHECK YOUR ORDERS BEFORE LEAVING!

  The workers were too busy watching the game instead of focusing on customers. We waited about 20 minutes before I had to ask what was taking so long, and one employee said they were “behind on fried foods,” but no one ever communicated that to us. People who ordered after us got their food before we did, and even after being told our food was ready, it still took another 5 minutes to get it. When we finally got our order, it wasn’t cooked the way we asked or paid for. We went back to have it remade, and it still wasn’t correct. No accountability, no communication, and no apology. I’ve tried giving this place another chance, but after this experience, I won’t be coming back.

  I was really looking forward to Wilma’s Barbecue and even drove from Crown Point to Dolton just for their rib tips. I placed my order online, but when I arrived, I was told they were out and offered chicken tips instead. I declined since I specifically wanted the rib tips. I got a refund, but the manager didn’t seem to care about the inconvenience or the fact that I wasn’t notified before driving all that way. It’s frustrating that the online system still allowed me to order something they didn’t have. Definitely not the experience I expected. This place is always my go to for great barbecue but the response from the manager has caused me to question the customer appreciation.

  Wilma's Famous BBQ at 1223 Sibley Blvd. Dolton, Il 60419. The restaurant area is a good size. There are only a few tables for two available (bar chairs) I don't think it's ideal to dine in. Too many people standing in line to place and wait for their orders. We tried the Rib tips, Wings, Slab, Turkey Tips, Chicken wings, the fries were good too. The special surprise was the Chicken Tips!!! Now, at this location, if you're looking for the typical sides like Mac n cheese or greens etc. I suggest having it at home and just get Da Meats at Wilma's. They have Icee's of different flavors available also. Keep in mind, this is a busy place so if you have a disability, you may have to stand for a period of time. The staff are working hard to give you good food but there's a wait attached. The sauce is very good too.
