The restaurant was upscale but quaintly decorated. Our server Brent was phenomenal. He gave us the perfect amount of time to review the menu, offered his opinion when we were indecisive on an appetizer, and came to check on us regularly. I never post what we ordered but it was absolutely noteworthy to share for first time diners like my friend and I were. We started with the Maple Glazed Crackling Pork Belly then shared the Veal Loin Chop Piccata and Flame Kissed Agave Chicken Breast. We both are huge chicken piccata fans, their veal picatta was to die for! Perfectly cooked and the sides were better than described on the menu. The chicken was cooked beautifully but a little on the sweet side, which we weren't upset with considering agave was used in the description. First time but definitely not the last dining experience here! Thanks Brent for making our experience memorable and we hope to see you again soon :)

Went here for our wedding anniversary, had never been before. It was worth going. We both got steaks and they were excellent. The side dishes were great too. Got plenty of attention with service. Highly recommend going here if you haven’t been. And going again if you have.
The green chili pozole soup is a great start to the meal. Tender pork, hominy, beans in a light, slightly spicy tomato based broth. Topped with a bit of cabbage and cilantro, very yummy. The chicken and dumplings is traditional with pillowy, tender dumplings covered in a white, very creamy sauce. Be sure and ordered some rolls to help get every last bit of sauce and chicken from the bottom of the bowl. Another hearty option is the beef pot roast. Fork tender with a bit of smoke sitting in a heaping helping of mashed potatoes. Too much for one person!

We went to this restaurant for our first time for my husband’s birthday. This restaurant was outstanding. My husband had the 16 oz. New York Strip. It was perfectly cooked. They cook it on post oak and the smoky flavor along with the tender meat was incredible! I had the 10 oz bacon-wrapped filet mignon. The flavor was also great. It was cooked perfectly! We also had drinks. I had the Mexican “Mason Jar” Martini. It was one of the best Mexican Martinis I have ever had. My husband had an on-tap microbrew Mexican-style beer (suggested by Will, the waiter) which was really good. Service was really good and attentive. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
The hostess seated us right after arriving; we did have a reservation. The waiter was very attentive, had good suggestions for the meal and was able to answer all our questions about the food and the restaurant; this was our first visit to Georgetown and the Wildfire. We had an appetizer of tortilla soup, steaks (bacon wrapped fillet and ribeye), baked potatoes, and shared an order of green beans with pecans. The meal arrived right after finishing the soup, having soaked all the broth with the dinner rolls - didn’t want to leave any left over! The steaks were juicy with good flavor, especially the ribeye, and the green beans were very tasty as well! After finishing the wonderful meal we decided to try a dessert. The most difficult part of the evening was trying to figure out which dessert to choose. We finally decided on the Blueberry Cheesecake Bread Pudding with vanilla ice cream. Oh My Goodness! Every bite was delicious! Can’t say enough good about the Wildfire. We will definitely be back!! Thank you to all the staff and chefs for a great experience!
