We moved to Kentucky from Indiana and were looking for better rates on auto and homeowners' insurance. A friend of mine gave me Sami's name and number. I contacted her and she responded so quickly and obtained quotes in record time. We saved an unbelievable amount of money on both policies. We highly recommend giving Wethington Insurance a call.

Frequently Asked Questions About Wethington Insurance
Should I package my home and auto insurance with the same insurance carrier?
99% of the time it is best to have the auto and home with the same carrier. There are certain situations where it makes sense to have the auto with one carrier and the home with another. Your agent can make this determination for you and guide you the process.
How much homeowner insurance should I have?
Your agent has an estimating tool to help determine the proper replacement value you need on your home and other structures. The tool takes the specifications and quality of construction of your home and produces the needed replacement value of the home.
What is NOT Covered on my Homeowner Insurance Policy?
Every Insurance company has different exclusions, so it is best to work with your agent on exact exclusions. Some common exclusions can be purchased back through endorsements. The most common exclusions are: Earthquake, water backup from floods or sewer, pest/rodent infestations, wear and tear/maintenance issues, mold, home-based business liability, war, nuclear hazards, intentional acts of damage and government actions.
What is the difference between comp and collision coverage?
Comprehensive coverage covers “acts of god” or things out of your control such as hitting an animal, weather related damage, or cracked glass. Collision coverage covers exactly that, a collision. Whether someone else collides with your vehicle, you collide into a vehicle or an object – that would be covered by Collision.
What is covered by comprehensive physical damage on car insurance?
Comprehensive coverage covers “acts of god” or things out of your control such as hitting an animal, weather related damage (hail, falling object(s) or flood), fire, theft of vehicle, vandalism or cracked glass.
If my car breaks down, will my auto insurance carrier cover rental car?
If you pay for Rental Reimbursement on your auto policy, your carrier will provide a rental car up to the maximum dollar amount per day if your vehicle is in the repair shop due to a covered loss. If your vehicle is simply getting maintenance done due to a wear/tear issue, the coverage would not apply.
Does My Auto Insurance Cover a Hit-and-Run Accident?
If you carry full coverage which includes Comprehensive and Collision coverage, your vehicle’s physical damage would be covered in the event of a hit-and-run accident. If you carry Liability coverage only, your vehicle’s physical damage would not be covered.
Does my car insurance cover me when I rent a car?
Most auto insurance policies will cover a temporary substitute vehicle of like kind and quality if you carry full coverage insurance. However, it would be best to call your insurance agent/company to best advise you as coverage terms can differ depending on the company and type of vehicle being rented.
