  Trusted Virginia with my David Yurman starburst ring to polish and restore some of the blackened areas and that is all i asked her to do. On my return none of the polishing had been accomplished along with the fact she popped out one of the diamonds. Then i was told she needs to find that diamond in her "basket" assuming the jewelry cleaner. I was asked to return in a week and she would then make it right. Upon returning i was appalled at what i saw she did to my ring. The "diamond" she replaced was not the original, very poor quality and not a full diamond but a chip plus it was mounted crooked. I have a microscope and a diamond tester and have experience in jewelry repair so i know what to look for. In addition, the "blackened " process she TRIED was terribly uneven with one side darker then the other. She totally compromised the design of the ring and when i complained, after she asked for payment of course, she told me to send it to David Yurman evidently after she botched it.
