    Family vacation visit. Service is good, fast and on point, always covering our needs. Water park is completely cold but it has various places to be including kids. The American restaurant was good but service was awful and slow even when the place was basically empty and the audacity of our male waitress was amazing, he expected us to call him every time we need something even to order food because he was busy talking to colleagues and in the middle of everything he took his lunch brake and did not say anything to us so another coworker came to help. Building 6300 has 2 elevators and 1 is damaged so it was not pleasant to wait for the elevator all the time. We loved the area location, closer to everything and the halloween and fall decorations of the resort was a great touch. Arcade room is cool and entertaining, Also the concierge was so kind letting us know everyday activities and giving options thru the day so we can do with the family.

    Rachel at the front desk reception made our check in the smoothest and most efficient that we've experienced in years. As 14 year owners we love Westgate but the check in process has always been challenging. This experience was perfect and started our vacation off perfectly. Thank you. Additionally, 2 weeks before my son stayed for a week and he encountered difficulties with check in requiring several conversations and room changes until Alejandro A. Front desk supervisor stepped in and assisted and made the experience better. My son said he was fantastic and provided amazing service. Thank you Westgate ❤️

    We had the true pleasure of having Maijah waiting on us checking in, who was truely extremely pleasant. We checked into our room at the resort, even though it was remodeled and looked nice it was not for us and didn't feel the happy enjoyable vibe. We contacted Maijah expressing our concerns and feelings and she listened pleasantly and caringly and looked into what she could do for us. Miajah ended up finding us another room in another building and wow....we were so thrilled and absolutely pleased. It put us into a great happy place and gave our trip a true pleasant happy vibe. In short....Maijah was amazing! Back home we called people like Maijah a Rock Star...Maijah is our Rock Star :) Coming her for 13 years she was truelly the best and most pleasant young lady we have had the pleasure to check in with. Listened with care and understanding. That goes a long ways in our book. Thank You Maijah! You are the Best! Westgate Resorts should be honored to have you as a team member.     Check in was extremely long, many spots around the resort and in the room very dated, unkept or dilapidated. Didn't offer any sort if housekeeping for a week stay and did not communicate that. Black gunk came out of the jets when we first turned it on. Toenail clippings in the couch. Service and hospitality was shockingly bad. I called the guest services to ask to be moved due to an ant infestation and a lizard in the bed. They said no, and they'll have pest control and a member of management come out. "Management" took note of the food I had to toss, and pest control looked around for the lizard and put a little ant bait on the wall. They couldn't spray anything because we had a baby in the room. I would like to note also that the question on the incident report about if I plan to take legal action against Westgate is incredibly slimey and an enormous red flag. I was told that I would be contacted by management with a follow up and it never happened. I called again to ask about moving and they denied again. Since we had nowhere to go, I (a hotel General Manager for anothet hotel brand) did their job and cleaned the room to the standard all guests should experience. Overall disgusting cleanliness, sad hotel practices to cut costs, and inept service and hospitality. I will personally never be back to this westgate, or any other.

    Villa with 2 rooms was nice but Within 5 minutes of the time share presentation Alvaro called me hostile because I mentioned my aunt almost lost her house over a time share. He tried manipulating us but we caught it. He said he wasn't in sales but then slipped and said he had 1 million in sales. The room was nice and the location is decent. Alvaro was about to throw a tantrum because I wouldn't budge. My husband snapped at Alvaro because he noticed he would smile and him and then attack me. I would do it all over again to get the $500 discount. Alvaro kept saying oh you did it for the gifts, excuse me what gifts I paid for the tickets. Don't buy the time share it's a scam. Bugs in bathroom and kitchen. Drawer under oven wouldn't close. The washer and dryer combo was nice. I was firm with my 90 minutes and put a timer on. Alvaro would say this will take 5 minutes then later say this is a 6 hour presentation. After much back and forth I eventually told him, he has 90 minutes and he can go sit in the corner and text I don't care I'm leaving after the 90 minutes. 90 minutes is the obligation for the $500 off the room. The water park isn't worth it. Two managers came over during presentation and they were more laid back than the sales rep who kept saying he isn't a rep. If you're latin then will put a Latin person to try to butter you up. Eat and use the bathroom before going. Will not be returning.
