The room itself is great! 2 bedroom 2 bath. Service not so much. After the first night woke up to the door opened. We assumed some just trying to bring in but the security guard was on so they wasn’t able to get in. Alerted security nothing. Go to leave and realize the door wouldn’t lock at all. Security didn’t show up and we had to leave we took all our belongings and came back later the evening. Door was locked went to front desk to get new keys. Didn’t work, a total of 3 times and it still didn’t work. The master key for the security did work so after an hour at 11pm we finally got in our room. The whole situation was shady and I feel like this is more to the story with security. They acted like we was lying. It sure put a damper on our trip.

My friend and I spoke to Leyda Ramirez from HSK by the pool and she was so sweet and amazing. She would follow up with us when we were having an opportunity with our food that we had to wait over 2+ hours for the food. She provided service with grace and a smile always; making us laugh and smile. The Front Desk team were amazing as well, they recommend some stuff for us to do and were very lovely; Marlyn and Wally. The Draft restaurant/In Room Dining service is a 1/10. They did not call us when the food was delivered, we called them for a follow up they said they had delivered it when we never received it, they took our order again yet we waited another hour for our food for them to tell us that they have a delay in the kitchen where our order will take longer than expected. Almost 3+ hours waiting, they offered us a voucher that we never received. Horrible F&B service and I work in a luxury hotel where we do have delays in food and beverage but never like this.

Marlyn provided outstanding service from beginning to end. At check-in, she went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and received the best experience possible. When we had a last-minute change to our reservation and the number of guests, she was able to upgrade us to a deluxe suite so that each guest had a private bedroom. Throughout our stay, Marlyn kept in touch via text to make sure all accommodations were met and also provided helpful information about visiting the park. The only downside of our trip—which was completely outside of her control—was the shuttle service. We visited for Halloween Horror Nights, and unfortunately Universal Studios’ information about the shuttle was misleading. While a shuttle is available, it runs only at set times during the day and does not align with evening events. As a result, we had to use Uber, which was still affordable ($6–$15 during non-peak hours). The property itself was excellent. Depending on the suite, you may have access to a fully equipped kitchen, which is very convenient for preparing meals. If not, there are three on-site restaurants to choose from. The hotel’s location is also a major plus—centrally located with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and Marlyn’s service made all the difference. I would happily return to this hotel, especially for non-Halloween Horror Nights.

It’s a shady hotel! I would not return to this hotel again! Yes the location is good in relation to the parks but we experienced, what looks like a scam, that was advertised in the hotel room. We ordered from what we thought was room service from a flyer that was in the room in a plastic stand. After an hour we get a call from the hotel front desk and she was rude and said you have to come get it and they didn’t have the right room number. Like I did something wrong. But I didn’t… all my info was correct. I go downstairs and it’s a door dash driver. He shows me his phone and has a completely different room number and I show him my receipt with the correct room number. Well I should have checked the food order. It was missing all of our sides. I ordered 3 sandwiches and paid $91 to get no sides!! So I called the number and they gave me a runaround. Said they would process the complaint and to give them 24-48 hours to fix it. Get home and the full amount was charged to my account. When I tried to call the hotel itself the person on the line sounded like an AI robot. They said to call another number. That number hang up on me twice before I was able to speak to anyone! Don’t or from the service “Order INN”! It was also really poor quality food. Btw… this business is run from Las Vegas. So not room service!

An Unforgettable Birthday Stay at Westgate Palace Resort! I had the most amazing birthday getaway at Westgate Palace Resort Orlando, and I couldn’t be more grateful to the incredible staff who made it so special! The suites are spacious, clean, and beautifully designed — perfect for relaxing after a fun day at Universal Studios, which is conveniently just minutes away. A special shoutout to Ms. Marlyn (front desk) , who went above and beyond to make my birthday unforgettable! From her warm hospitality to her thoughtful surprises, she truly made me feel like a VIP guest. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does. And of course, Wally also deserves recognition for his kindness and excellent service — both of them made my stay extra memorable. I’ll definitely be coming back to Westgate Palace Resort — it’s not just about the perfect location and beautiful suites, but the wonderful people who make you feel right at home. We stayed there Oct. 10-14
