Love the Westgate business, especially the people they employ. Very committed to service and the room they put us in was breathtaking. Beautiful view, so scenic and relaxing to take in. I wish the resort carried a day spa. These services are in demand in beach areas and something I love to enjoy at their Smoky Mountain property. The hot water is very lacking in the rooms here as well.

Shout out to Joni and the rest of the team for a fantastic time this past weekend and for returning my lost charger! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit this is a beautiful hotel even with a little aging it’s still gorgeous! The view from our hotel was breathtaking in both the morning and evening. I loved how quiet it was and all the options that was available to us!

No hot water for two days. Maintenance suggests just let shower run and maybe it will heat up. Planned a seven day stay, but will be leaving after two miserable days. We will NEVER stay another night in a Westgate resort.

I really enjoyed my 5 day stay there! The room was very nice! The people at the front desk and Conceierge desk were really helpful! One thing that bothered me was the fact that the person that you checked in will continually text you throughout the day and ask you how your vacation is going, so tell them NO, not to text you. It was a bit confusing where the restaurants were they are displayed on the halls and on the elevator. It reads that there on the 1st floor, but theyre not on the 1st floor of that building, its located in the 200 bldg 2 blocks down. No one told me that the 3 restaurants shown is actually 1, nor did anyone tell me that I could get to it from the inside so the first 2 night I felt uncomfortable walking out late at night back to the hotel. Now maintenance are on it, my air conditioner went out and 2 very nice guys from Jamaica came right out and replaced it. They have a nice water park for the children, 3 pools I believe, and a floating river which I enjoyed. The hotel has security on duty and is secured from anyone coming into the pool area from outside. I do love the added security feature of having to use your room key to get on the elevator.

My friend is a timeshare owner. 2 years ago we stayed at the Gatlinburg one which was very nice. There we had a huge bedroom with 2 beds, 2 baths (master had nice shower & great tub), full kitchen & full living room with fireplace & washer & dryer. Beautiful big balcony with fullsize table & plenty of chairs. So this time she opted for Myrtle Beach which she'd stayed at before with a similar unit. This time was a ripoff. Was given small studio type unit with 1 King bed, 1 bath with shower, no exhaust, tiny efficiency kitchen in living room, full size fridge but only 2 burner stove top/no oven. No washer or dryer. Tiny balcony with only 2 chairs & itty bitty table so one person had to stand up. Place was cramped with 3 adults & was supposed to be 4 but 1 cancelled. She called from home before trip but resort claimed there was nothing else available, tried again after arrival but again told nothing else abailable. We saw plenty of vacant units while there. Getting a bit rundown, could stand updating/improving. Pools are nice but Lazy River is so small it's a joke & only 1 hot tub. They provide free chairs for beach but no umbrellas & you can't get a chair after 5 pm. Parking deck poorly designed (separate building). So many huge colums my friend scraped her side mirror on one. Some areas dangerous with 2 way traffic in a narrow curve. Elevator but still a lot of walking to get from car to building unit. My friend was very dissapointed & said she'd never return to that resort & I agree. Pretty good location tho. Employees were friendly. We were there Sept 2025.
