What a relaxing week! Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Branson, yet close enough to everything. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Great views of the lake. The only confusion was on arrival, we didn't realize you had to go through the gate to get to the property. Probably would have helped to read the emails. Highly recommend.

We are here now. I had reserved a room thru my Timeshare RCI. I didn’t get a nice one bedroom condo with a patio or balcony. They gave me a unit on ground floor parking lot side which is A side They were telling me that’s all they had. I was told by both places about upgrades it’s mentioned on website for RCI. The Westgate over the phone told me they are giving us a lock room. Which is an extension room no views. I had to wait till I arrived to see if they had units available. Well they did. I was told to pay with points or cash. No one said anything about an up charge. They charged me for Seven nights totaling $372 extra. I said we were leaving a day early and they still charged me for seven nights and that’s Wrong❗️ The unit I had to pay extra for is on bottom floor with Patio. We have dogs so that’s great to be able to take them out. The B side unit is Lake view a little obstructed by trees but okay for us. This place is mostly vacant so they could have given us a higher unit to be nice and make a PAYING EXTRA $$ guest happy‼️ The outside pools open until October but it’s not heated and you can’t go in it because it’s 60 degree water❗️Gorgeous but inaccessible. Deluxe one bedroom is lake side with partial view. You can hear people walking upstairs. You can hear toilets flushing. You can hear voices from connecting unit. I shoved a towel against bottom of connecting doors to muffle sounds. Oh yeah. The owner went out Saturday night in the middle of the night. My husband woke up and couldn’t breathe with C PAP machine connected to his face. No restaurant-just refrigerated food by office for purchase to heat up in microwave in units. The lake view is good, furniture is new, units are updated.

I shared most of my concerns under room. We've been owners for 25 years. We come for the lake view. The condos are just average but I feel as an owner there could be upgrades. A better mattress and more comfortable livingroom furniture. Please eliminate people from bringing their pets. We leave ours at home and pay someone to look after them. The constant barking is a nuisance. We had a dog barking all morning next to us and called the service desk. Her response was the resort allows pets. She'll try and contact the owners. We appreciate having a one bedroom unit and realize there's obstacles that can't be eliminated. ( Paper thin walls where you hear every cough or screaming children.) The rooms are clean and the staff at checkin are always nice. We return each year to view the lake but realize as we age this might be our last year.

Out of the way -no restaurants or places to get snakes -no coffee in the area Cheaply built -very thin walls, could ease drop on neighbors to the left, right, and above me. -every person that walks by or vehicle who drives close will sound like it’s coming from inside your room. -this happens when developers and contractors cut corners to save $$. Unfortunately I have not experienced this little sound proofing before. -I didn’t think any of my neighbors were being too loud. Just thin walls couldn’t keep the noise down. Unfortunately this takes away from everyone’s expectation of privacy. Nothing complementary -SOL for breakfast or coffee -will have to drive 10+ minutes anywhere to find something -even for Westgate this was pretty awful. I will not be returning.
