  The slogan here is “The Good ol’ days are here” and that feels appropriate . The ambiance is modern but the food and the service are refreshingly traditional. The best part of my meal was the Cinnamon Toast Crunch milkshake! The other thing that stood out was how friendly the staff is. Eye contact, smiles, checking on you, the whole deal. I really enjoyed eating there.

  Very clean, I really enjoyed my A1 steakhouse burger, the fries and chipotle mayo were delicious, and I really enjoyed the lemonade in tap. I'm gonna recommend this place to all of my Salem friends.

  I would like to say the chili cheese burger was good but since they charge 1.49 extra for it and give pretty much no chili I have no idea if it’s good. The burger was bland as hell. I won’t be returning. Sad I was hoping for a new burger spot.

  The burger was very impressive. I had the bacon double cheese burger. The meat was high quality but could’ve used a little seasoning. The price was a little bit much. That’s said. I definitely will return because the quality of food is very high, and I know I’ll walk away from this restaurant a satisfied customer, that’s worth a few extra dollars. Unfortunately, the location is off the road and hardly visible making it a destination location. That’s a really hard way to be competitive on Lancaster where there are so many choices. I don’t see this restaurant making it in their current location so if you want to try a Wayback burger, you should head over there soon.

  I stopped here at the Lancaster location to try their burgers. I checked to see what time they closed, and Google said 10pm. So I got in my car, drove 20 min, and arrived at 9:45pm. I was so excited when I pulled up and the OPEN sign was on and there were people inside!! My husband and I hopped out of the car, opened the door to walk in, and heard, "sorry folks. We're closed." I looked at the hours sign on the door and it says they close at 10pm on Saturdays. I then asked "you're closed?!" He replied, "yeah, sorry. We're closed." We then walked back to the car to leave and we watched another customer pull up, get out, and have the exact same encounter we did! He looked just as confused as he stared at the hours sign on the door. I guess I'm just bummed! I was really hoping to try this place out. I work weird hours so I rushed there to be able to get food before they closed. I understand that they want to start the closing process, but fix your hours on the door and Google suggestions if you want to be closed by 9:45! Just annoyed that I wasted my gas and time. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
