Washington Veterinary Clinic is proud to serve Washington, IA and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service.
When I first moved to Washington from out of state with my diabetic dog, there was an issue with her shipment of insulin. I wasn't going to have insulin for my 15 year old frail diabetic dog, I panicked and started calling vets in Washington to help. The Washington veterinary clinic not only got me a vile that day but set me up for an appointment for my girl the next day. They literally saved my dog. So I go there for all my veterinary needs. They helped make my dog Sadie comfortable and have quality of life until her time had come when she was 16 years old. They were so kind with end of life options. I received her ashes in a beautiful hard wood box with her name engraved, as well as a paw print set in clay. The staff was so kind while I was out of my mind with grief and sent me a condolence card afterwards too. Additionally I take my cat who is now 16 years old there, Dr. Wickham found out she was asthmatic, when her previous vets chalked it up to "cat behavior". The staff and doctor there has had her asthma under control for years. I also now have a 65lbs pitbull mix that the staff there adores, she loves going into the vet there and basically pulls me into the building to see her friends. They take such care with the animals they care for and are very supportive to the humans who take them there. I would definitely reccomend taking your precious pets to Washington veterinary clinic. They are the best!

The staff always take such great care of our outside kitty. He adores all of their love and attention. They are very thorough in their exams and notify us of things to watch for as he ages.

Friendly staff, quick to the chase on how my animal was doing and if I needed to handle any upcoming checkups for shots. Price was fair, will be coming back again when necessary!
