Huge suite, tastefully decorated and the layout has a great flow. 2 tv's one in lounge and one in bedroom. All spaces have sliding doors to seperate each area. Its very well done. Great on site restaraunt. My only call outs would be: Location, this is bordering the tenderloin. A LOT of homeless, and dare I say it, the pavements are lined with human excrement. Gym, this place needs a gym. I give this place a 5 star as the property, the space and the staff are amazing. Just watch where you walk, especially if you turn right on leaving the hotel.

Some rooms have a very disgusting stench. We had to change the room twice.

Be aware that this hotel charges you for a "destination fee" upon check out on top of a resort fee paid through Booking.com.

We booked the one-bedroom suite with handicap access, and while the space was decent, there were a few key issues. The sliding doors were awkward and difficult to manage, especially for accessibility purposes. More importantly, the bathtub was not disability-friendly, which really defeats the point of an accessible room. The sensor lights were also disruptive during the night — a small thing that made sleep harder than it should’ve been. That said, the staff overall were friendly, and the location is excellent — walkable to pretty much everything and very convenient for Waymo pick-ups. We also appreciated the two complimentary glasses of wine per night, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the barman was quite unfriendly and seemed to resent having to serve us. He didn’t even bring the wine over — just left it sitting on the bar. (Easy fix: just don’t tip him.) We’d stay again, but definitely in a different room — one that’s more thoughtfully designed for comfort and accessibility.

I was eating dinner last night at their wonderful restaurant Bota, (situated adjacent to the hotel lobby), and randomly happened to notice (and really like) the scent that was present throughout the hotel lobby and restaurant. I inquired with Ana, the front desk concierge on duty, as to what the scent was called so that I may source some for my own home. She didn't immediately know the answer, but said I could leave my contact information and she would look into it/ask her colleagues/bosses etc then get back to me via email. I did just that, kindly thanked her for her time and effort, and went on my way. To be honest, I didn't expect to hear back from her. I didnt really think she would take the time and effort in following up with me since it was such a minor question/inquiry from a random non-guest of the hotel. However, to my pleasant surprise, half an hour later I received an email from her with a couple of different possible answers! I immediately expressed my thanks, and commented that her bosses were very lucky to have employees like herself, hospitality associates who go above and beyond the call of duty (even for something as small and trivial as indulging in a non-guest's request in identifying the scent present throughout their lobby). Thank you again, Ana! Even though I wasn't a hotel guest, you made my experience with your hotel a memorable one!
