Such an amazing place! Very fun to explore
Please bring cash! There are many nice people along the trail that share with you their music or art. They are all amazing at what they do and are so talented. They only take tips in cash though.

Opening hours are 9 am to 4 pm.
Closed on mondays.
Price is 25$ which is totally overpriced.
It is a 3 km entirely paved walk. You can pay a shuttle 10$ one way. So if you have difficulty to walk you are paying 45$…
Overwise it is a 30/45 mins walk.
The park is beautiful to reach the cascade.
I think you can call to check the recent rain fall as the cascade flows depends on it. Some people go and see very little waterfalls.
There is an overcrowded swimming area.
It is a very nice place but if you are a family of 4 it is a certain budget and becomes not worth it.
If you have a limited budget this is not a must. If you don’t mind paying for an hour excursion then it is pleasant but not fantastic.
You can buy the tickets at the door.
There is a free parking

Beautiful botanical grounds, some cultural sites, an easy paved path to the waterfall, some optional side paths with stairs to see even more of the beautiful plants. Entry to the waterfall is large uneven rocks, I recommend wearing water shoes and not for anyone with mobility issues.

If your entire visit hinges on swimming in the waterfall, be sure to check recent rainfall or upcoming weather conditions,it may affect water flow and accessibility.
That said, this valley offers so much more than just the waterfall. It's rich in Hawaiian history and culture, with numerous educational resources and interpretive displays. The expansive botanical garden is absolutely beautiful and provides a peaceful place to walk, explore, and learn.

Nice walk which we did in the morning during late August. The falls weren’t open which was a shame, and we honestly would t do the full walk again unless they were as it’s steep and hot with a small child…
If they had been running it would have been smaller than perceived by photos.
Stopped for a pineapple ‘slushie’ at the kiosk to cool down… honestly it was truly terrible. Inedible… if you’re Aussie and expecting a slushie for $18 think again. Cream, syrup, more cream, who knows what else… we tossed it. Absolutely gross.
Otherwise the gardens were perfectly nice. Not great just nice.
