There’s a place very affordable, depending on what room you get it can be considered modern, but the rooms are clean. You won’t spend much time in the room because you’re in the heart of everything at this location. They do have a pool and laundromat area little game room everything you need is literally right around the corner from this place. If you’re looking towards a spot, they won’t break your bank check them out.

Of all the moments that make up a perfect Waikīkī vacation, our most cherished began the moment we stepped into the Waikīkī Resort Hotel. From the inviting, open-air lobby scented with plumeria to the refreshing pool that provided a welcome respite from the sun, the property itself is a beautifully maintained oasis of Aloha. However, what truly elevates this hotel from a great stay to an unforgettable one is the exceptional leadership of Manager James Kuwata. His presence is felt everywhere, in the seamless operation, the immaculate grounds, and the palpable sense of warmth that permeates the entire resort. He has cultivated a team and an environment that doesn’t just meet expectations, but consistently surpasses them, making every guest feel like they are the most important person on the island. If James Kuwata sets the standard for excellence, then Front Desk Clerk Brandon is the brilliant embodiment of it. From our very first interaction, Brandon was the epitome of professionalism and genuine, heartfelt hospitality. He not only secured us a stunning room with an incredible view when we arrived weary from a long flight, but he also remembered our names throughout our stay, offering personalized recommendations that led us to a hidden mochi stand we never would have found on our own. Brandon possesses a rare talent for making you feel not like a customer, but like an honored guest in his home. Together, James and Brandon represent the very soul of Aloha, and they are the reason we will not just be returning to Waikīkī, but specifically to the Waikīkī Resort Hotel.

Stayed here for a week and while the hotel may not be up to date the service and hospitality was superb. The breakfast was amazing and very filling. Everyday different options. All the workers are super friendly. Had a facial done at the spa on M floor and it was a great experience. Super close to many restaurants and stores. Very close to the beach and they offer lei making and yoga on the beach and other activities included with your stay. 10/10 would recommend

This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in my entire life. I never thought I’d find a place in Hawaii worse than a rundown roadside motel. 1. Cleanliness: Absolutely terrible. If you want to share a room with cockroaches and stay in a place that smells like garbage, this is the perfect choice. If you want to ruin your trip to Hawaii, this is the hotel for you. The stench is so unbearable that it’s impossible to breathe inside the room — a perfect mix of bleach and sewer odors! 2. Service: The service is just as awful. Not a single staff member can speak to guests without yelling or sounding irritated. It’s unbelievable how poorly trained they are — it makes you want to track down the owner personally. 3. Price: You might think “you get what you pay for,” but it’s not even cheap. I had already paid in full through the booking site, yet they still charged me around $250 more for parking and a so-called “resort fee” (is there even a resort here?).
