I help care for two older standard poodles and have been bringing them to Wags for grooming for several years. Stevie was great, and she is missed. The new groomer is wonderful however, and does a great job. Now I am also using Wags doggy daycare services, and it's a lifesaver. Thank you Sue and staff for your great customer service, clean place, reasonable rates and being so attentive to the pup's care and well being.

Update from the response: Okay. Listen, had you said anything remotely close to what you had typed to me I would have been much more empathic. However, this was my experience. I walk in and say hello I am here for an appointment etc and the FIRST thing you say to me is a scoff and a remark on her size. Then after about 45 seconds, upon realizing that you are unable to give a medium sized dog a bath (i was not there for a full grooming appointment) you only say, and i quote, "she wont get in the bath. I will have nothing to do with IT" in the rudest and most petulant tone you manage. No sorry, no explanation, that's it. Had you bothered to explain anything I would not have been upset, regardless of whether or not a "groomer" could manage a BATH on a medium sized dog. You indicate that you are 73, and that's a fine reason not to want to bath a medium adult dog, however it is not an excuse for your completely rude, dismissive, and immature behavior. I am glad that my appointment was cancelled so that my money did not support a complete blight on the Santa Fe community. Based on the reviews of this business, this is not an isolated experience. I have some edits for your website. Might want to remove this quote "handling all kinds of dog breeds and understand the best methods to treat your unique pet. Our knowledgeable staff provides patience and care for dogs with anxiety, dogs that require medication, and shelter dogs." Because it is simply not true and does not represent your business model. And while you're there, it seems you may want to remove the entire services section because its clear you have zero interest in providing them. Have a blessed day! Original review: I now see why there are one star reviews. Set an appointment two weeks an advance, took my morning off to bring her in. Starts off with a rude comment about her size, when I clearly responded on the phone saying she was 50 pounds, which she is. Apon arrival they act uppity when they release her into an open room with other barking dogs without her harness and act surprised and rude when she's excited.. um yeah girl, its dog in a sea of other barking dogs... They simply said they would have "no part in it". Complete waste of time. I HIGHLY recommend not calling this place at all. I have a trained adult dog that got excited and they just.. didnt even give her more than one minute. I can't understand the mindset.
