Our floors look great! That's where the positive experience with this company ends. We hired them to install new LVP flooring and a kitchen range hoodvent. From the start, there was a lack of communication on his end. Due to respiratory disease and needing to avoid dust, we got a hotel for the 4-5 days he said he needed to finish our project. That 4-5 days ended up taking over 20 days (to this day, still hasn't completely finished it, but has been paid in full).... Per his request, we purchased a gallon of paint, and he told us to make sure we had it ready to do touch-ups for areas that might get dinged. We emptied out our entire house into the garage to make it easier for them. We brought the crew snacks and beverages daily and would be here promptly in the morning to unlock the door and let them in to start. If only we and our house were shown the same respect. He took advantage of us not being here and on some days only showed up for an hour (we have security cams outside, we can see who came and how long they stayed). Some days, he'd tell us he'd be here at 8-9 and not show up till 11, which left my husband and I scrambling to get through our morning and being late for work. Some days, they'd leave our AC running on 65° the whole day (we know because we checked progress every evening after they left) We let them use our fridge to store beverages, and someone turned the temperature too low, and all of our items in there had to be tossed due to spoilage. They dinged up the walls all over the house (and no, he never came back to do touch ups). They could not put our bathroom vanities back properly. They broke our toilet and replaced it with the cheapest possible version that sits a lot lower than the original one. The list of disrespects goes on and on. He installed our hoodvent incorrectly. We have had the opinion of not one, not two, but three ducting companies refer to the installation as "hazardous" to the health of our home and soffit. We stopped in his shop over a month and a half ago and requested a date to come back and finish the few last minute details that he has already been paid for (tile the backsplash, caulk the trim around the house, touch up dings). He gave us a date of September 22nd and 23rd. We agreed, and he added it to his calendar. We texted him a few days before to get an arrival time, and he ignored us. September 22nd comes around, and he's a no-show, which didn't shock us. We have tried numerous times to go to the shop and contact him by phone and text. He is nowhere to be found.
Keith, we would like a refund for what we paid you for the improperly installed hoodvent since we had to pay another company over $2,000 to fix your mistake, and we would like a refund for the jobs left unfinished.
Please spare us the BS excuses. We've heard them all from you and are not listening anymore. You could have the common decency to notify us you couldn't make it, but that would be asking a lot from someone who is dishonest, incompetent, and runs an unprofessional business.
We look forward to hearing from you, or we will be left no choice but to involve our attorney.
