David was punctual and took the time to explain what was needed, how he would do it and was such a joy to work with! He had to make multiple trips out to my place as we uncovered other electrical things that needed to be fixed first and he was always kind and brought a good energy to the situation when I was feeling stressed. I've told all my Minneapolis friends and neighbors that if they need a bathroom fan or stove vent properly vented that they HAVE to work with David. I'll continue to sing his praises haha :)

With boiler heating and no duct work in our house we have been looking to get a mini split system installed to provide some AC. We had it quoted from numerous companies big and small but the price always was too steep. After contacting David and having many back and forth emails as well as him visiting our house the final quote was the most competitive. It is one thing to know what you are doing but it is another to actually care about what you are doing and David has both. From first contact to the finished job David was forthright and honest on everything but also provided a high level of competency and quality for doing the job. I could not be happier with the whole process from beginning to end and highly endorse him for any work he does.

Ductwork Pro inspected our attic ductwork to determine if we had any issues. Not only did they do a thorough job, they located several major issues that needed to be addressed immediately. They came back promptly to fix the ductwork, sealed fans, and replaced a roof adapter that would have caused leaking in our attic. We highly recommend Ductwork Pro! Thanks for your great service!

Frequently Asked Questions About VisionAiry Heating & Cooling Inc.
What types of heat pumps do you install?
We offer three primary heat pump options for installation. Our ductless Mitsubishi heat pumps are excellent for homes lacking ductwork, additions, basements, or bonus rooms. We also provide ducted all-electric heat pumps that integrate with existing ductwork for central heating and cooling, featuring electric backup for extremely cold conditions. Lastly, our dual-fuel heat pumps combine an electric heat pump with a gas furnace, optimizing efficiency during freezing temperatures.
How do heat pumps work?
Heat pumps operate by transferring heat rather than generating it. During winter months, they extract warmth from the outdoor air and move it inside. In summer, this process is reversed to cool your home. This method of operation contributes to their high energy efficiency.
What's the difference between ductless and ducted heat pumps?
Ductless heat pumps are ideal for homes without existing ductwork, finished basements, or room additions. They feature individual indoor units, or 'heads', that can be controlled separately for zoned comfort. Ducted heat pumps, on the other hand, connect to your existing ductwork to provide whole-home heating and cooling. They're suitable for central air systems, offering consistent temperatures throughout the home and can utilize electric resistance backup during very cold days.
How much does a ductless heat pump cost?
The cost of a ductless heat pump varies based on the number of zones and room size. For a single-zone system, which includes one indoor and one outdoor unit, the cost typically ranges from $8,000 to $11,000. Multi-zone systems, depending on the number of indoor units and installation complexity, can range from $10,000 to $25,000 or more.
Do heat pumps improve indoor air quality?
Heat pumps can indeed enhance indoor air quality. Since they don't burn fuel indoors, they prevent the emission of harmful substances. Additionally, ductless systems avoid the accumulation of dust and allergens that can occur in ductwork.
How does VisionAiry Heating & Cooling approach heat pump installation? Do you just focus on one area, or the entire home?
At VisionAiry Heating & Cooling, we employ a comprehensive, performance-based approach that considers the entire home rather than focusing on a single area. We recognize that a home functions as a system, with insulation, air sealing, ductwork, and ventilation all influencing comfort and energy efficiency. Our process begins with a phone consultation to understand your needs and goals. We then recommend home performance testing to identify air leaks and insulation gaps. We evaluate your existing HVAC system and ductwork, design a custom-sized heat pump system, and perform expert installation. This holistic approach ensures optimal performance, improved overall home comfort, reduced energy costs, and increased system longevity.
