After being denied for financing, I experienced significant resistance getting my deposit refunded. Starlight attempted to retain the deposit, suggested I move into a smaller home, and only refunded the money after I escalated through my bank. This is not an isolated case. I’ve found others with similar experiences, where Starlight claimed they never received the deposit or delayed refunds after denying buyers. Their legal team now denies any wrongdoing despite clear evidence — including their own documentation. I’m pursuing legal action because companies like this must be held accountable. If this has happened to you, I encourage you to speak up. I will be following with the lawsuit Against this company with the evidence that I have If anybody would like to join or this has happened You’re not alone
