We moved from VA to CO. We chose this company because they had the best price, were affiliated with a major carrier, and said they would not need a shuttle for our move. We assumed this meant that they would pick up and deliver in the same moving van. Instead, they took our stuff to their warehouse, where it sat for several days before eventually being loaded onto a different truck. That truck did not even leave their warehouse until it was too late to reach the destination on time given the other stops they had to make. At that point, they expected to arrive a day after the last day of the delivery window they had previously provided, but they ended up being two days late because they did not have a team available to off-load at the destination. Notably, the fine print in their contract allows only a $100 per day for late delivery no matter how late they are or how large your family is. We also had breakage and loss. They told us we could leave clothing items in dressers and the dressers were wrapped for transport when they left our house so we assumed they would stay wrapped. When they arrived, they were wrapped differently, and there were items missing from inside. Also, even though we marked boxes fragile, they still crushed them. Although they did reimburse us for damage to furniture, there was no reimbursement for damage or loss of items that we packed or that were not separately inventoried. Maybe, this is the way all moving companies operate, but I would certainly not choose to do business with this one again.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The packers arrived early but were there 13 hours to pack a 2.5 bedroom home, keeping us up very late considering the loading truck was coming early the next morning. The loaders seem surprised by what all we had to load - one made a comment that I truly didn't appreciate about our belongings. They need to keep in mind when you are in a customer's house, don't even whisper something you wouldn't say to their faces. So disrespectful to go in someone's home and act this way. The packers did a HORRIBLE job. So many items are broken, fragile things were put in the bottom of boxes with heavy things on top. Two tv's were damaged, multiple lamps, furniture, and countless other items were damaged. I am making quite a large claim with Allied because as one of the best in the business they did a terrible job caring for and ensuring items were not damaged. I highly suggest against Victory if you want your things respected and taken care of.
Our Victory Van experience began in early 2022 as we were planning to sell our home in Northern Virginia and move to the mountains of western NC. We knew our belongings would be in storage for a while and we knew that a semi would not be able to deliver our belongings once we found our mountain home, so we requested that our belongings be loaded in large crates to reduce handling. Our Victory Van consultant assured us that the crates would be stored in a climate-controlled facility and could be delivered to NC.
Two and a half years later when arranging our move into our mountain home, the Victory Van move coordinator told us that the crates cannot leave Virginia and our belongings would have to be unloaded in their warehouse and reloaded onto a box truck for delivery. When the box truck arrived, every square inch is crammed with our belongings. As they started unloading, we were handed a few boxes of broken furniture that had fallen apart due to glue disintegrating in high heat. Some furniture had blue fuzz stuck to it from furniture blankets – again due to high heat. Many pieces of furniture showed signs of rough handling – broken pieces, new dents, and new scrapes. In short, damage that should not have happened if Victory Van had honored their commitment to store the crates in a climate-controlled facility and deliver the crates to our new home.
Additionally, rather than work with the local Allied facility, Victory Van hired an independent crew that spoke little English. As a result, many boxes and non-furniture items ended up in the wrong room/floor which caused considerable effort by us to locate and relocate.
This was without question the worst move we’ve ever had despite our pre-planning and known requirements. The only reason we’re giving a 2-star rating is that they did quickly and reasonably respond to our move date change a week before delivery due to the Helene Storm which devastated Western NC.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We had a confirmed delivery appointment with Victory Van Corporation for 4:00 PM. Our driver showed up early at 3:00 PM, only to find that the dock was CLOSED — with no prior notice, no call, no email, nothing. Completely unprofessional.
We tried to reach out for assistance, but they were completely uncooperative and offered no help or explanation. Because of their lack of communication and disregard for scheduled appointments, we missed our next load, which was already booked. That cost us both time and money.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable in this industry. If you’re in logistics or trucking and rely on timely communication and professionalism — avoid this company at all costs.

I would never go to this place nor get their service in the future. The front desk and the office staffs are rude and unprofessional. They asked me to come pick it up at 11am and delayed to release my paper for 30 minutes by 11.30 am They said it's almost lunch time come back at 1pm. I got there at 1pm still they didn't make the release paper finally got it. Asked me to go to the loading dock. No clear direction what to do when I get there. The staffs at the loading dock are very helpful and professional. Couldn't load all the stuff by 3.30pm, they said come back tomorrow coz we close loading at 3.30pm, no clear instructions what to do tomorrow? Not sure how are they running business there. I would have given 0 star if possible.
