I’ve given this vet several chances, but it’s clear they’re more focused on profit than genuine care. When my dog was a puppy and had two sets of canines (a common occurrence that usually resolves on its own), they pushed to have them removed — an unnecessary procedure that felt like an upsell and wouldn’t ya know they fell out without issue. And she showed zero signs they were bothering her in the meantime. Every visit seems to have a different vet, and the inconsistency shows. During one checkup, the vet handled my dog very roughly. He asked if she walked funny, I said no, and then he squeezed her tiny leg so hard she yelped in pain — then said, “See?” as if to justify it. Completely unacceptable. To top it off, they charged for her medication four days early, which caused an overdraft fee on my account. When I reached out for help, there were no solutions or accountability. I’m leaving this clinic for good. If you’re looking for a vet that genuinely cares about your pet and not just the bill, I’d recommend going elsewhere.

Dr. Granum and her assistant are professional, insightful, great communicators and always go the extra amount to make sure my cat is cared for. I adore them!

This place is a scam. We made an appointment for 7:30am for routine exam and vaccines for our newly adopted dog. We didn't leave until 9:15am and had to ask the bill be reduced from $600+ to just over $400 due to the number of add-ons that weren't requested. We don't be going back.

We had been happy customers at VCA for nearly a decade, but we are saying goodbye due to some serious mishandling of our pet's care. We have been in CareClub for multiple pets off and on for years and although it is documented in our pet's invoices that we had received our lab work benefit across multiple years, when our dog had elevated values come back on this year's blood work, somehow they had no reference point to compare it to, because lab work was never actually completed on my pet, even though the CareClub benefit is shown as being used on 3 years of invoices. Obviously, I am very concerned about my pet's health, and even more concerned that the vet and manager had no answer for me about why the preventative care that we've paid for the last 3 years was never done. No apologies, and told me I "declined it". Why would I decline routine bloodwork when my dog already has to be sedated to come into their office? On the phone when this issue was first discovered, the vet blamed the previous vet we saw at VCA that we loved and is apparently now the medical director of the office, Dr. Young. No one at VCA has acknowledged this issue as concerning in any conversation we've had, which makes me feel like this is not the first time this has happened. I requested my pet's records and it took them over 10 days to even respond to my request while I'm waiting to make a decision about the elevated values on her blood work, said they've sent it twice, still haven't received it. Disappointing that no one at their office could make a simple apology, instead they are doubling down and acting like I'm being nuts. I don't know what happened, because we had great experiences with all the vets we had seen here previously before this visit - however none of them seem to work here anymore.

I got a kitten off Craigslist. I made a free first appointment at vca north. I go to appointment alone with kitten. I should have brought my partner. The vibes were awful. The vet had bully mean girl vibes. Rude uncaring devoid of basic human kindness. It was real weird yall. No one wants their baby taken care of by anything close to it. After the "free" checkup that they emailed me and I told them I was using they acted like I was something less trying to get free stuff. I pulled up the coupon which they seemed to think I didnt have? and they looked at me like a bum. Very confusing and sad. I left the free flea treatment they give u in the room and went to another vet. I told them I would not be returning after they called me about the flea treatment id left. Today they called me 2 months later asking if I was going back to get it or if they should put it back in stock? I've been finished with this failed interaction. Am I your supervisor? Figure it out. Idk bro leave me alone? Skip it these ppl don't know how to business or human.
