  This company has zero respect for other people’s time. We took off work three times for a bid on repairing or replacing our roof and adding some venting for our crawl space. We had three appointments on specific days and times. They totally stood us up for the first appointment. No call, no show. Thinking that mistakes happen, we called to ask what happened and to reschedule. For our second appointment, they called when they were actually supposed to be here to reschedule. Then they stood us up for the third appointment. No call, no show again. Obviously we went with a different company that keeps their commitments. What this says to me is that the folks at Vargas think they are the only ones with lives and schedules that matter. We rearranged our life three times to meet with them, and they couldn’t even be bothered to make a phone call. Standing people up is incredibly rude. If they didn’t want the business, they could have just politely said so, and if they can’t keep track of scheduling commitments, you better bet they won’t be able to keep track of service commitments. Buyer beware of red flags like these. Edited to respond to the owners comments below: my partner and I have different last names. The three appointments would have been under the last name Miesner.

  We had Vargas Masonry repair the brick work on our front porch. They did a fantastic job. The brick matches our house perfectly and the work quality was top notch. All of the workers who did the job were extremely nice and polite. We could not be more pleased with the job they did.

  The May 16th tornado caused severe damage. The moment I contacted this company, I knew I found the right people for my situation. Adrian is the best!!! Very professional, personable and straight forward. Very satisfied with work performed. Highly recommend this company.

  Very unhappy with the experience, I called the company to get an estimate on the job. They never called me back to tell me that they had an estimate. I called them weekly. To try to see about the estimate. It took them a month to tell me that they were not gonna be able to do anything and or give me an estimate. Very poor communication!
