I trusted the tech's suggestion to change my power steering fluid. Huge mistake! My car is older I have an oil leak and transmission leak but I did NOT have a power steering leak....now I do! It is leaking so bad I can't park in my garage, big puddles are left on the ground in the public parking spaces. The smell inside my car is atrocious! I called customer care and opened a claim. I received a call to bring it back to the shop a second time. The first time the techs told me the pump was old and that is why it was leaking. Filled up the power steering fluid and sent me on my way. The second visit was with the "regional manager" what a joke! She diagnosed the problem without even seeing my car. She tells me on the phone she has 14 years experience and I probably had leak before hand and changing the fluid exacerbated the leak. WTH??? I get there all she does is vacuum out the old fluid that paid for, that I had to refill myself, just to put back in the valvoline brand and then she saw the leak. Told me it was a coincidence the pump is leaking, wished me luck. She also keep asking the tech don't you see transmission fluid? He showed her a pic he took from under my car, and shook his head. She asked him more than once about transmission fluid. SMH. She was totally biased. I could go on and on about all the things that were done wrong.The bottom line is I didn't have the leak before the service. Now I do after the service. I will also have to pay for an engine cleaning. They took no accountability.Now I have to pay a mechanic for new pump and get it installed. Not to mentioned the "regional manager" has the final say on closing the claim. I have no recourse. Ridiculous poor customer service 😒
