I went here to change the oil in my car. There was only 1 car in front of me. I waited 40 minutes in line and in the end I left without changing the oil in my car. I do not recommend it. The people here are very slow.

The team was absolutely professional from the start. They walk out and welcome me in to the bay. I immediately asked about full synthetic or hybrid. The team member suggested full to ensure better performance. They communicated with one another regarding movements and completions of their task. I was in and out in no time, and the oil gadgets were reset. Awesome service... I'll skip my dealership and come here next. I may become a lifelong customer... we'll see.
The associates at the Florissant location are always respectful, courteous, and they explain exactly what's due with your vehicle and give you the option to make the decision.

The location at 1717 N hwy 67 in Florissant doesn’t deserve one star. They were supposed to open at 8am. I didn’t pull into the bay until 8:21 am. The 1st tech arrived at 7:58am, he came out and said that he couldn’t open until the other worker arrived. The 2nd tech arrived around 8:15am. I was not compensated for my time, sitting waiting for them to open

I would give zero stars if I could. I went to Valvoline Florissant on 9/5/25 for a simple oil change, and by the very next day (9/6/25) my vehicle was completely inoperable while driving on the highway. It was terrifying — I lost acceleration, all dashboard lights came on, and I had to pull over in unsafe traffic conditions.
When I contacted Valvoline, they told me to drive the vehicle back even though it wasn’t safe. Once there, I got multiple excuses — one person said it might be “cold oil,” another claimed nothing was wrong. I later got an independent diagnostic that confirmed Valvoline’s service caused the damage.
I’ve reached out multiple times and given them more than enough time to respond or make things right, but they’ve shown zero accountability or professionalism. Their lack of care and poor customer service have cost me lost income, major stress, and expensive repairs.
If you value your vehicle and peace of mind, avoid this Valvoline location at all costs. They are quick to take your money but slow — or completely unwilling — to take responsibility.
My vehicle is new FYI 2023, under 50k miles.
