My delivery has been delayed multiple times with no clear communication from the company. Yesterday, I actually received a call from their customer service team confirming that my furniture would be delivered tomorrow. We went over the details, confirmed everything, and I rearranged my entire schedule to be home for the delivery. Then today — just after 2 PM — I got another call saying that my delivery was being delayed again. No real explanation, no apology, just “it’s delayed.” I went to the store myself, hoping to get some clarity or help, but the manager didn’t care at all. No effort to offer solutions, no empathy, no accountability — just a shrug and attitude as if it wasn’t their problem. At this point, it feels like they don’t value customers’ time or trust. If you’re thinking about buying from Value City Furniture — don’t. Their communication is awful, management is unhelpful, and customer service is unreliable. I deeply regret doing business with them.

The salesperson told us we could return it within 15 days but never mentioned a 15% restocking fee. When we tried to return it and even offered to buy a more expensive leather sectional, the manager was extremely rude and refused to help. The staff clearly aren’t trained properly on refund policies, and the manager’s behavior was unacceptable. Now we’re stuck with a sofa we don’t like — very disappointing experience. Would never recommend this location
