  My daughters experience ended up absolutely terrible! My daughter struggles in school and got really sick(hospital) and then her grandma almost died-so she had gotten behind. We were working so hard to get her caught back up but before she even had a chance the Principal was so rude and told my daughter that she wasn’t capable of catching up (not something an adult should ever say to a struggling child) and she kicked her completely out of school when there was only 40 days left of 9th grade! She was absolutely so rude and she was trying to discourage my daughter so badly! So now since the years almost over no other school would take my daughter(we live in a very small town so there’s only 2 options) so now she’s going to have to do 9th grade all over! My daughter is devastated and all the kids around here are making fun of her! This has totally smashed my daughter hopes of ever graduating! She is now so depressed that I’ve had to take her to therapy! This principal is horrible! She’s supposed to be helping children better their lives yet she has hurt my child’s life badly! Until this principal is fired I would never do connections academy in Utah for any child!! There are many other online schools to choose from!!! Choose wisely!!!

  This is such a great school! All the staff are amazing and it honestly seems like they care about each student! Highly recommend!

  My kid is really struggling in this school. They have two assignment platforms that contradict each other and are disconnected. As his official learning coach I cannot see his work even though I’m required to verify it’s completion every day. The teachers refuse to answer questions about their syllabus. And none of them understands their own platforms. I have a bachelor of science, which included some online classes, and I cannot understand my kids requirements. His online grade shows 93% but they’re threatening to kick him out for poor performance, and openly admit the online platforms do not show accurate grades. Do not bring your kid here! This was a huge mistake!
