In 1999, funding was approved for the construction of a facility that would accommodate both student wards and academic activities. The University Parkway Center was dedicated in December of 1999 by Henry B. Eyring. The building currently houses the English Language Center (ELC) and provides chapel-like facilities for Provo Young Single Adult (YSA) stakes.
