- MJMelvin JohnsonMay 13, 20252.0Had a 3 PM Friday pick up in Santa Barbara for the scissor lifts. A scheduling mistake was made internally with United Rentals and the $1100 cost to pick up the lifts was made my responsibility even though our contract said Friday 3 PM pick up. I wasn’t going to pay $1100 for United Rentals mistake. The scissor lifts weren’t picked up until Monday morning. Now I’m waiting to see if my invoice is going to be more than what I was quoted since they sat there over the weekend . The lifts did arrive on time Thursday morning and they did work well. Pick up was poorly and irresponsibly handled. Somehow, United Rentals problem was made my problem to pay.
