Upon arrival, compressor did not have diesel and the location in the 78216 zip code did not have any on site. Once on the job site, the compressor did not function. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to receive return communication from this location regarding invoicing. Extremely disappointed.

I am a contractor that was hired by them to install the power and HVAC for one of the camps for unattended migrant children in Carrizo Springs. Every a/c unit delivered to the site had some problem or another ranging from minor to completely non-operational. The a/c tech they brought in didn’t fix them and couldn’t even catch something simple like the thermostat reading incorrect supply and return temperatures. I have been waiting in vain for 85 days to get paid on the job and have finally had to resort to contacting an attorney to begin the process of filing a mechanics lien. I have been doing specialty electrical and HVAC work for around 6 years and I have never had this much difficulty getting paid for a job. Especially after multiple promises that “the check’s in the mail” two weeks ago…in addition to the payment being “in processing” for a month previous to that. I did a job a month after this one for Aggreko which I have already been paid for! I won’t be doing business with this United Rentals branch ever again.
