  I have to give a huge shoutout to Chili at Union Restaurant. He absolutely made our day! His personality is amazing with so full of life, fun, and positivity. From the moment we sat down, he had us laughing nonstop and truly made the entire dining experience unforgettable. It’s rare to come across someone who can brighten your mood just by being themselves, but Chili does it effortlessly. If you’re visiting Union, make sure to ask for Chili. You won’t just have a great meal, you’ll leave in a great mood too!

  One of my favorite Tampa spots of all time! The food is always on point. Service is also excellent. We had the pleasure of having Benjamin as our server tonight and I can’t say enough good things about him. He was attentive to us, made excellent recommendations, and helped us in celebrating my wife’s second birthday this year lol. He made our experience here great!! Highly recommend

  We were a group of 5 adults. Made reservations weeks in advance. Upon arrival on 10/11/2025 for our reservation, we were provided with a table right in front of the semi-open crowded kitchen area where all the serve staff gather for orders. Constant movement of staff by our table and bodies of servers near us at all times. Not pleasant at all. Other tables available on the first floor. Requested change of table. Our group was moved to the second floor. The live music inside the enclosed dining area was loud like dining in a dance nightclub. Could not even hear the person sitting in the next chair when speaking. Asked if volume of music could be lower somewhat. After much conversation with perhaps the floor manager, the volume was supposedly lower, but really, we could not tell the difference. The volume of the music was not background music. We decided given the price point of the menu, limited menu options and lack of response from management, to leave the restaurant without eating. We previously had dined at this restaurant and even though we thought it was pricey and average food quality, it was pleasant enough to return for a meal. But after our poor experience, we will not be returning to this restaurant. Many other better options for an average meal.

  I have to take a moment to talk about the incredible experience my girlfriend and I had tonight at The Union all thanks to our bartender, George. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel genuinely welcome and comfortable. George wasn’t just serving drinks he was creating an experience. You could tell right away that he takes pride in what he does. He was super personable, easy to talk to, and had the kind of energy that instantly elevated the night. He took the time to ask what kind of flavors we liked, gave thoughtful recommendations, and crafted drinks that were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Every cocktail was balanced perfectly smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with precision and care. You could see his attention to detail in every pour, garnish, and presentation. He didn’t rush anything, but he also kept the conversation flowing naturally the entire time. It’s rare to find someone who can make you feel both like a VIP and an old friend at the same time, but George did exactly that. He checked on us often without being intrusive, made sure everything was perfect from start to finish, and even remembered small details about what we liked. You can tell he truly loves what he does and goes out of his way to make every guest feel special. If you go to The Union, ask for George. He’s hands-down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met, and the drinks he made tonight easily rank as some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere.

  Absolutely Exceptional Dining Experience! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. The staff was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly — making us feel like valued guests from start to finish. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The [starter/appetizer] was a perfect introduction — fresh, well-balanced, and expertly seasoned. For the main course, the [dish name] was nothing short of spectacular. Cooked to perfection, it showcased the chef’s talent and attention to detail. Dessert was the cherry on top — both decadent and creative without being overwhelming. The ambiance is elegant yet comfortable, making it perfect for both special occasions and a refined night out. It’s clear that quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and excellent hospitality are at the heart of everything they do here. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. A must-visit if you’re in the area — we’ll definitely be back!
