Asked for a remote tent away from noise and parking lot and was placed in a tent 50 ft from parking and right next to the septic, which stunk when you walked by. Reserved tent with bathroom and had no hot water and first night temps dropped to 33 degrees. Had no fire cuz they ran out of kindling so we were freezing !! Wood stoves are so small you can’t really put much in to keep a fire going.
They were suppose to fix that water issue and said they did but next night still no hot water. Bathroom lantern didn’t work either. Was not the experience we had hoped for and at the price they charge, it should have been a much better weekend. Wouldn’t ever stay with them again.

We've been to 2 Under Canvas locations, so we knew what to expect. It is glamping. The tent cabins are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. There aren't a lot of amenities, but everyone is very helpful. The restaurant has a good menu. Sage, our waitress, was patient with our silly group and gave it right back to us. Near the town of West Yellowstone. About 15 minutes to the park entrance. Good location.

This place was awesome. Definitely a place to go anytime except hot temp times. I am a very hot natured menapausely lady. It was hot in the tents when we got there and all I could think of is, what have I gotten myself into. Once the sun started to set the temp dropped and that night it got down to 37°. The bed was comfortable and I slept very peaceful and warm with no extra blanket added to the bed. We didn't even start a fire in the tent till the next morning while packing up to leave. Would do it again!!! The firepits and smores was a huge highlight for us. Very very peaceful.
We loved our stay at Under Canvas. Service was fantastic (the team were very responsive to any and all questions asked via text, even late in the evening). Tents were spacious and dry even during an overnight storm, and beds comfortable and warm. Would recommend taking them up on their offer of a hot water bottle at night even if you aren’t sure you’ll need it! View of the stars was beautiful. Quiet hours started at 10 pm and seemed well-respected by all guests, and hot coffee and tea were a delightful pre-dawn find when we were up early to head out to a distant hike. We’ll stay here again!

Decent hotel but lacking in some areas. The food was average and came out so quickly it had to have been pre prepared. We arrived early and weren’t allowed to check in, which was fine, but then we didn’t get into our room till 3.30, past the advertised time. Check out at 10am also feels a little stingy. Some of our clothes were damaged by the heater in the room, despite us following the instructions of the staff, and the hotel’s response to this was lacking. Overall, for such an expensive evening, we would have expected better.
