This was one of the best trips I've ever taken. I highly recommend staying here if you're a nature lover. It is beautiful. The tents are cozy, spacious, and extremely clean. The weather was rainy and cold but the fireplace warmed up the tent quickly. The staff were amazing and so friendly. The location is literally in the mountains so of course there's no service. The point is to be unplugged! I promise you can live without wifi for a couple days. The food is exceptionally tasty and the portions are large. Plenty of activities for kids. I can't wait to visit additional locations. It's going to be hard to beat the Smokies!

Love this location. Being back in the hills and out of cell reception and not having Internet is great. Great way to disconnect and enjoy some nature. I brought a propane heater this time because the only heat you get is a wood burning stove and you've got a get up a lot at night to keep it going.

Beautiful location, I had a great time. Shout out to Hannah and all the workers, super friendly and professional. There is no cell service, which I personally enjoyed as an escape, but download directions and movies ahead of time. Also no food in cabin so eat before.

This is the 2nd under canvas location we have e stayed in, the 1st being under canvas paradise valley. We loved our first visit with no issues. We understand no WiFi is offered however we didn’t even have cell service at the Under Canvas Great Smokey location and our phones were in SOS the entire time. This was a problem for us as we were having an emergency issue with a rental property we own. The current tenant was unable to contact me while we were on property. At one point I used the front desks phone to text the tenant a message. I understand the concept of disconnecting from the outside world; however, if your property is in an area with no cellular connection I feel you need to offer some kind of connectivity. We have two phones on 2 different carries of which neither worked.

First experience at Under Canvas, and it won’t be our last! Friendly, hospitable staff all around made our stay very welcoming and relaxing! The facilities were neat, clean and very well maintained. Food service was excellent and so incredibly convenient, that there was never a question of “where are we going to eat”. Great glamping community experience around the nightly campfires the staff started promptly at 7:00. Highly recommend!
