This place was extremely nice. It provides you with the comfort of home in the middle of nature. The staff was welcoming, kind, provided great conversation and made the experience enjoyable and fun. The only thing that I would have like differently was that there were a few holes in my tent from the constant wind movement blowing the fabric against the wood that held it up, which nobody can control, it's mother nature. The only reason I mention it is because this did allow a few spiders to come into our tent. I think if maybe there was patch work over those spots or a spray around those areas that could help prevent spiders from coming into those holes, then it would have been absolutely perfect. We managed to use a cup and move the spiders outside the tent unharmed. [I prefer spiders over mosquitos so I'll save a spider if it means less mosquitos any day hehe.]

A little off the beaten path from Moab, a gorgeous setting, clean and captures the art of perfectly minimal. Restaurant was fantastic, especially on live music night. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the crafts, and the whole family loved the dipping pools. We can’t wait to come back!

Being relative and objective, our stay was 5/5. ***How ever*** if I could give 4.5 I would because the house keeping / cleaning services are not at par of a 4 star property and DEFINITELY NOT at per with a two Michelin key property. The bed was barely made, pillows never fluffed. Started with 4 towels, ended with 3. Inconsistent - sometimes fire lighting tools with tidied up, other times things were left dirty. Coffee making supplies not refreshed. It would be an easy curtesy for housekeeping to plug in electric lantern - they didn’t when we forgot. Hair from previous guests or cleaning team in the room. The team members in all other departments work very hard & are friendly. Got attitude from Noah during dinner service one dinner service. Wifi barely reached tent 30. Excellent food for glamping, but also inconsistent - burrata salad looked different every time and peaches were not grilled as advertised. Error on the Ulum Website when booking activities directly. We booked 7:30 start. When the tour operator arrived at 8 he advised that activities no longer started at 7:30, but ulum hadn’t updated their website. Smoke from fireplace often came back into the room. Still, enjoyed our experience very much, but would be that much better if all was consistent. Spacious room, full flush bathroom, shower only had 1 temp you have to adjust with maintenance man if it’s too hot or cold for you. No closet, just hooks.

We stayed 4 nights in early October 2025. During 3 nights, there were winds. The rooms, which are large canvas tents supported by timbers, become noisy in any wind, down to 5 mph. This includes the support timbers squeaking (emitting sounds akin to rats squeaking) and top canvas flapping against the inner canvas. In short, sleeping well was a tremendous challenge except on the night when wind was completely stagnant. The front desk confirmed that nothing could be done about the noise and offered earplugs. For heat, the rooms have only wood burning stoves and electric blankets. Linens and blankets are high end. The sink faucet must be held on, so washing your face takes extra effort. Water temperature is adjusted at the hot water heater, not the shower itself (this was easy for us, but we’re industrious). Housekeeping was borderline nonexistent. Our group had 3 tents over the 4 nights, we were gone each day for at least 10 hours, yet for each tent, beds were not made, trash cans were not emptied, fire starters not replaced, etc. The main facility is nice. The hot tubs and cold plunge are great. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Dinner was fine (the chicken however is cooked to death and should be avoided). The food servers are pleasant and relatively well trained. Although Ulum emphasizes eating and socializing outdoors (for good reason: the views are exceptional), they do not offer blankets when dining at the outdoor tables/socializing around the fire pits, which is inconsistent with the price point and comparable resorts. Finally, the location is not ideal if you intend to spend your days in Moab (check the map and plan accordingly).
The views are exceptional, and waking early to enjoy the sunrise from the yoga platform is recommended.
