  I have kitchen project which requires the disconnection of my gas stove. I called UGI Heating, cooling and plumbing to get the gas stove disconnected from the hook up line which requires to loose one connector and reconnect the 2nd day. Customer service rep which i booked the appointment told me that the trip fee is $99 plus parts, 2nd trip might be less than $99 since it's for the same job which makes sense. When the contractor showed up. He said even it's only 5 min work to loose the nut, he will charge one hour labor at $220/hr plus $99 trip fee. So i paid $319 for the 5 min work. For the 2nd day coming back to tight the same nut, he will need to charge the same amount of $319 since it's another trip. I ended up to talk to his supervisor to waive the $220, still pay $99. For disconnecting my gas stove and reconnecting, i ended up paying $418 for total 10 minutes work. Very bad experience with UGI plumbing. It's a rip off.
