    If you're in Wynwood or Miami for that matter, make sure you make time to go to Uchi. The design of the restaurant is beautiful yet cozy. The staff is top notch with amazing recommendations. Cocktails were delicious. And the the food...its like a Michelin star taster menu but you get to pick the dishes and without all the hype. Not to be missed!

    Dining at Uchi Miami was an unforgettable experience. If you love Japanese food this restaurant should be top of your list! The atmosphere felt warm yet elevated, and every dish that came out was a work of art. The sushi itself was some of the freshest and most creative I’ve had in Miami. Unique flavor combinations that melted in your mouth. A special shoutout to sushi chefs Derrick and Farid, who made the experience even more memorable. Their skill, precision, and genuine passion made this experience even better. They took the time to explain each piece and made excellent recommendations. All the sashimi we had was amazing, you have to get the soft shell crab roll, and oysters. All of it was so flavorful. If you’re looking for a spot in Miami , Uchi should be at the top of your list. Derrick and Farid elevated an already incredible meal into something special.

    I had heard amazing things about this place so I came for dinner with my partner and let me say it did not disappoint! Every single item we tried was worth every penny. The quality and flavor/texture contrast of their menu items were superb! Alessio and Adrian gave us some of the best service and recommendations that matched all of our preferences. I will 100% be back!

    Before spending $ for lunch, we tried one appetizer, chicken karaage and yellowtail nigiri. Asked server to ask chef to add wasabi inside my nigiri and he replied that they do not modify their orders. He said they top nigiri with fresh grind wasabi. When order came, my yellowtail nigiri was dousted with sweet soy and killed all the flavor of yellowtail. And topping was pickled wasabi, not fresh ground. Sushi rice was too warm, mushy, and sweet (tasted like powdered sushi vinegar mix that you can buy at grocery store). Karaage and good flavor but tossed in soy-vinegar sauce, which was not mentioned in menu.

    We had lunch at Uchi in Miami after looking for a good omakase-style spot, and it definitely delivered. Instead of ordering ourselves, we asked the server to just bring out some of the favorites so we could try a bit of everything. Every dish was delicious, and it was a fun way to experience the menu. The only thing that felt a little random was getting the hot meat dish so early in the lineup, but it was still really tasty. For Miami standards, the price was also very fair. We’d definitely recommend coming back here.
