I went here on Sept 2nd with a friend to switch some accounts over. We had the pleasure of having a young lady named Jaliyiah help us. She was a pleasure to work with. Great customer service! She had a great personality and a beautiful smile. Thanks for the great service. We will be seeing you again. Wendy & Mike

Good luck trying to have a useful banking system with these guys. They are just not useful other than just dropping money in a bank account. They don’t pay good interest. Their Zelle sucks. If you’re like me and sometimes you need to send large amounts of money at once then it’s not going to happen. This bank is set up for children so they can put safeguard’s on the Zelle transactions. Bank of America will let you send $15k and these guys are like $1k. This is why I don’t put hardly any money in the account. It’s just not useful. I tried moving $170 from this account to another bank and it stopped me because, “this phone number is already used.” The reason it says that? Because I have my phone number already listed on this account. Who cares! I have more than one account. Now I have to drive down there to remove a little money to put in my child’s account. Unfortunately there’s a good reason why I have to keep this account otherwise they would be gone. Come on guys get with the times and people will get more serious with you!

I’ve been a customer for over 10 years and this week was acutely disappointed in the way this credit union treated a long term customer. I recently started a new job and received a live check. Two in fact as part of my sign on came ina separate check. When depositing the checks, they hold the funds, even though it’s a certified check. If they had deposited it in our checking account as requested, they would have had to release funds over the next few days. Rather, they chose to deposit the funds in our savings account which allows them to sit on the money for 7 days. When I called they said I would have to go in to the branch to “negotiate” but they are not required to release funds. This is not acting in good faith and causing my family serious financial hardship. I’ll be moving my family’s accounts to a different bank and would highly encourage anyone looking at TruWest to keep looking. @TruWest, I did reach out and was told there was no legal requirement to release the funds earlier. Try again.
