- EAElizabeth Alanis4 days ago1.0Worst credit union!! They will hold a small check for up to 8 days. Very ridiculous!! Closing my account as soon as I get access to my money that they have been holding. UFCU is much better and will have access to funds almost immediately. I also have negative balance of $84!!! Because they refuse to release my funds!! It’s just sitting there nicely and I have to still wait till this Friday to have access to my funds!!! Ridiculous and unacceptable!! UFCU does not do that!! I just want my funds and to close this account! I’m so done with them.!!
- CDcarter daltonMay 30, 20252.0Not what it use to be. Had a $50K Cashiers Check from a local dealership. We asked if the funds could be available the next day. Prior to going to TruWest I called to see what the quickest time was for the funds to be available so we could put the money on another car at a different dealership. the 800 number I called stated it was up to each facility to decide when the funds are available. I have been with TruWest since 1996. My balances remain very healthy still. With out looking at anything the lady stated it requires a week before funds are available. So I took the Cashier's Check to Regions in Round Rock and the funds were available the next day. I just don't like depending on one financial institution. So it is now time to find another institution for my funds.

Every time I call regarding questions about my loan it’s always something new. The representatives sounds so mad and not willing to help customers. But I will say CARLOS AND LEON ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO HAVE ANSWERS FOR ME regarding my account and questions that I have.
