Today, I walked into the gas station to play my evening numbers (3) tickets. I asked the cashier Robert POLITELY if he can play an additional number. He made a face in disgust, I asked are you ok, will you be able to play the number. His reply; no I can’t and if you want to you can take these tickets and go somewhere else. I couldn’t believe he said that to me and I have been nothing but nice to Robert whenever he is serving me. I said to him in a loud voice you don’t have to be rude to me. When he saw my reaction, he says I didn’t mean it like that, sorry you took it like that. My feelings was so hurt, I would have ever expected that from him.
He embarrassed me in front of all those customers for no reason at all. Please play the footage for 5/5 at 6:15PM ish and see how your cashier Robert treated me. Then he tells me he can’t play the numbers because he is by himself. I come from a retail background, being alone does not mean you disrespect your customers. The lack of unprofessionalism, and disrespect I receive today was so uncalled for. He completely humiliated me. He needs customers training 101. How do you treat polite customers so rudely, and be so dismissive.

Terrible experience. I have no words.
I have been going to this location for over 30 years. I have spent at least $50 daily at this location.
I had an awful experience this week. I sent my 55yo son to buy something. He decided to get a small can of a specialty beer. The cashier decided to card him even though he looks like a 55 yo man and both cashiers present knew him. He didn’t have his ID. The cashiers know me also. I presented my ID. She refused to sell me the beer even though she knows me and I am 74. She wrongly interpreted the third party sale of alcohol. The law is to prevent the sale of alcohol to minors. Both cashiers know that both my son and I were both over 40. I don’t know why she initially carded him since she knows him.
She then said she couldn’t sell me the cigars either. I asked her why. She called someone who I thought was the manager. I told her to tell that person that I have been a customer for 30 years.
She called the police and 5 Solon cops responded. I told them this story. By then I decided to just buy the nonalcoholic items. She rang the them up. I told her I needed to use my loyalty card. She then said I’m not going to sell you anything in the store.
I was flabbergasted at how this young lady decided first to call the cops then to refuse to sell me anything. She was angry and retaliated in the way I just mentioned. I have never had the cops called on me for anything. I have never been accused of trying to buy beer for a minor. Such an accusation could cause me to lose my medical license. Yes I felt humiliated and embarrassed.
As a loyal customer for over 30 years, I didn’t expect this treatment from a cashier. I have never had an issue with anyone else in the store. I don’t know what her real issue was. It seems to be from something prior that she was upset with. It has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I don’t even want to go back into that store ever again. But you can not weaponize a law because you are angry. I plan on making a complaint with the Bureau of alcohol control if I don’t hear back from customer service.
I will miss the other personnel that I have come to know.

Clean and nice inside. There is a large beer cave. However, they don't have milk available for the coffee.
