- RORyan O'Danieltoday1.0Guys are clowns - clearly paying for Google reviews. Received a quote and paid a 50% deposit only for the tech to no call/no show. We had a leak and dug it out, and the tech checked it and acknowledged the leak, then changed his mind later and suggested leak detection, then required leak detection days later after they had bailed on the job. Never called to follow up. Ended up using Poolside AZ because they reviewed the job and fixed the leak the next day.

I called for a diagnostic, but all the technician did was call someone with the specs of our pump and offered to replace the whole thing for $2k+. I watched some YouTube videos, took it apart, and it turned out the bearings were bad. I replaced that for $15 plus another $25 the bearing puller tool. Ended up working after that. I didn't appreciate that I asked for a diagnostic and all I got was a lousy replacement offer. There didn't seem to be any real knowledge from the tech on what to do or even consider could be wrong. Giving a second star because they didn't charge me for the "diagnostic", and the appointment set-up was easy and the communication was professional.

I recently had some algae buildup and he did a great job getting it off. He always texts me on his way and sends me pictures after the service. Highly recommend him.
