Trek Bicycle Algonquin (formerly Cycling Republic) is your destination for the latest products from Trek and Bontrager, service and tune-ups for bikes of any brand, and a great place to find the perfect road, city, mountain, or electric bike to fit your riding style.
We’re conveniently located on Randall Road where we’re proud to service the surrounding communities of Huntley, Carpentersville, Elgin, and more. We’re also lucky to be located near some awesome places to ride, like Raceway Woods Forest Preserve, Fox River Trail, and Keith Andres Park.
Our team is passionate about getting more people on bikes, and we’re proud to support the local cycling community by working with organizations like the Chicago Area Mountain Bikers (CAMBr), Raceway Woods Forest Preserve, and the Algonquin Park District.

The customer service shown to me when I came in was great, the salesperson (I can’t remember her name, she was a blonde woman) was very helpful and understanding. The cherry on top was the thank you card I just received in the mail! I’m loving my new bike and will be using Trek for all my bike-related purchases moving forward.

- TBTerry BanikeJul 23, 20255.0Hats off to Algonquin store service manager Miguel Torres Garcia. I stopped in on the fly today to have my brakes adjusted for an upcoming 20-mile ride. Miguel did the adjustment on the spot, patiently explained the finer points of bike brake systems and quick release wheels, expertly answered my many questions about Trek bikes in general and even gave my bike a quick once over to make sure everything was in working order. He was exemplary and I will definitely be taking my and my family's bikes there for servicing anytime they need it.

Even though the store was pretty busy with appointments, they managed to find time to take care of my bike in just a couple days. The store owner even drove out to my home to get it to me on time. Super appreciative of the knowledge / kindness the store employees demonstrate, and their dedication to the people who walk through their doors. I'll definitely be bringing my wife's bike by for the next tune up as well.
