The owner, Laudelino Felipe, began his journey in the tree industry in 1996 at just 17 years old. Like many, he was looking for a way to make his mark in the world—and he found it in the towering trees of Houston. He began working as a groundman for other major tree companies in the Houston TX area, learning the trade from the ground up. It wasn’t just the physical work that fascinated him, but the responsibility and connection to nature that came with it. Over the next five years, Laudelino gained hands-on experience in every aspect of tree care—becoming a trusted expert in pruning, trimming, removals, and tree health.
In 2001, after five years of hard work and dedication, Laudelino took a leap of faith and founded Tree Care Professional with a simple but powerful vision: to offer high-quality, reliable tree care services that were accessible and affordable for all. His goal wasn’t just to cut trees or trim branches—it was to nurture and preserve nature one tree at a time.

I almost didn't choose him because I wanted to support a woman owned business. He kept in communication with me without being too pushy. He and his son Kevin came out when he gave the original bid. I had a good feeling at first but I really wanted to support a woman. In the end, Lino, won the job! He had a job prior to mine the night before which ran over. He called me to ask if it was ok for them to come a few hours later since the job ran over. They arrived earlier than the original time! He and his guys are knowledgeable, professional, punctual, efficient, thorough when the job is complete, communicates well and overall good people! I can't thank them enough for what they did for me today. My tree was half dead and was stressing me out when storms came through. They removed my trash tree in literally 5 minutes. It was the street ready to be ground up! It only took them 2 hours and the top of the tree was GONE! The job was complete in a hour less than what was originally discussed and everything was cleaned up to perfection! Thank you Lino and your crew for helping me sleep easier tonight and breath a sigh of relief when the storms come through. Also, they had EXTREMELY tight quarters to work in and the tree was right by my solarium and home! Not a problem!! They removed it with ease and Grace! Both times they did an excellent job. Their crew came in and worked efficiently to cut down and haul away all the severed tree limbs. They brought in equipment to grind up everything and by the time they left my yard was as if they never been there. There was no debris left behind. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
